These are lovely bags - strong, well finished and look very good quality.Well worth the price.I have dropped one star for the plastic on the drawstrings.I have bought these to stop using plastic - obviously I will no longer be using plastic bags for groceries but am trying to avoid buying any new plastic either.It would be good to have a wooden piece on the drawstring perhaps?

If you are looking to eradicate the the single use plastic that covers your fruit and veg and the alternative of picking individually, only to be forced to fill a flimsy plastic bag (the very thing you were trying to avoid) frustrates you, then these bags could be for you.When I have to purchase from a supermarket that wraps their veg in plastic bags, I now use that bag as a mini bin bag (This is rarely a problem when buying from a market).The only down side is the weight of each bag. The bag weight is labelled, but a busy cashier may not take this into account... A point the very budget conscious may want take into consideration.Overall, I am pleased with these bags as they are a relatively easy switch that will help towards reducing the unnecessary use of plastic.

I love these, but they are still plastic.These were one of my first eco swaps, I love the amount I use them and the ways I’ve found them useful in the stores (I.e for loose bakery as well as fruit and veg) however, they are still plastic, yes reusable, but plastic nonetheless.I will use these untill they are absolutely done for, but once they are beyond repair I’ll be replacing them with a natural fibre alternative.As a side note I have also found them quite easy to stain so you do need to be on the ball.

We have moved to the Middle East where - although you can buy most fruit & veg without packaging - they are all then put into a plastic bag, tied off, weighed & labelled.I bought these bags to replace this waste and have found them really effective for purchase & storage - I love the different sizes and have only dropped one star because the pricing stickers do not stick well to the material used so often have to have produce reweighed as the sticker has vanished by the time I get to the checkout!They also wash well in the machine.

I have now used these bags a few times in the supermarket for 'loose' fruit and veg. I tighten the cord and stick the price sticker round it so it doesn't fall off the bag, so the price is visible, and I have no problems at the checkout. In fact a couple of assistants have said what a good idea they are to save plastic waste! Great product, just wish my local Asda had more loose fruit and veg!

I did a lot of reseaech, looking for some simple reusable bags for storing produce in my fridge. There are a lot of similar products on the market and it took me a while to decide. I'm happy with the choice I made. The bags are well made and look good, with simple and unobtrusive labels and drawstrings. I will also use them for various other things around the house as 9 pieces is more than I need for the fridge. Great to say goodbye to plastic bags!

I bought these bags for buying fruit and veg at the supermarket. They have two downsides;1. you can't really see through them so either the person at the checkout trusts me, or (s)he has a rummage2. I go to a supermarket where I weigh the fruit and a machine prints out a sticky label price tag. The labels don't stick to the bag :-( I work around it by folding the label over the bag drawstrings. A bit of a faff but it worksI use some of the bags for laundry. For this purpose absolutely fine

Nice eco friendly product to help reduce plastic use when shopping. I've also used some for keeping toys together for my little one! However this is a bundle of bags which we brought to reduce the plastic we use. My biggest issue with this is these bags came wrapped in a plastic bag! Which seems totally unnecessary.apart from that great product.
