PetSafe Ceramic Avalon Pet Fountain, 2 Litre, Automatic Drinking Fountain for Cats and Dogs, Drinkwell

This is a fantastic product (and for a ceramic product it'a a good price). I spent a long time looking at numerous models by different companies and all varying in size, material and price (I also checked out video reviews and noise levels on pumps on YouTube). The quality is brilliant and it arrived in a large box. Opened to find one third stuffed with crushed thick paper to securely hold the box inside in place. I then opened the Avalon box to find it all brilliantly packed and secure inside. So very pleased with the delivery packing and how the company packs and secures their product. Setting up of the product is very simple and pretty much self explanatory but if in doubt there is a construction manual with it that gives you step by step instructions on how to put together and also take apart to clean as well. The design is simple and elegant and very easy to clean and construct. My cat took interest in it straight away and was soon happily drinking from the falling water. Great product and extremely happy with it. VERY VERY quite pump, pretty much no noise just a very very quite hum that is covered by the sound of the running water. Highly recommend.

This cat fountain is probably the best one I have had. Not only is it made from a heavy ceramic but it is easy to use and out together whilst still looking nice.I have had about 10 fountains in the past 3-4 years and most of them have been thrown out because they either have cracked or discoloured or the filters have stopped working.This one has done neither and is so far my longest lasting! It is quite heavy especially when filled with water so it will not be easily moved or cause splashing by little paws, that being said if your cat plays in water it will probably do so with this one. It is easy to clean and the ceramic parts can either be hand washed or be put in the dishwasher. (Without the filter obviously).To change the filters is easy and they can be purchased from Amazon as well.

So after searching for a while for a drinking fountain that I thought my two gorgeous, yet fussy cats would like, I found the Avalon. I knew I wanted a porcelain or ceramic one as the plastic ones can cause cat acne (Suffering from acne myself I didn't want the same pain in the Arse affliction for my handsome kitties) Plus from what I have read the plastic ones can harbour nasty bacteria. Yuk! Also my kitties do occasionally drink from running taps so I wanted one which also spouted water as apposed to just sitting in the bottom circulating. So I decided on the Avalon. I must admit every time I say the word 'Avalon' I have a little giggle to myself, as a lover of silly movies 'The Avalon' is the name of the hairstyle Adam Sandler makes super cool in You Don't mess with the Zohan. 'It's the Avalon, it says I care about the way I look, but I'm still approachable'Luckily this fountain is a stylish as the Zohans hair. Maybe even cooler! Really good size for 2 big manly geezer boy cats like mine, I'm yet to see them use it, very fussy cats, mostly just stare it right now, and it's only been one day, but it looks cool, is super quiet and definitely something I would proudly display in my kitchen. Plus it's very easy to set up and clean. Two big massive thumbs up for style and practicality. Not too mention I ordered it Friday evening and it was delivered Sunday afternoon.Thanks Amazon!!If you want a cool fountain for your kitties give it a try.

DESCRIPTION:Beautiful and weighty item, looks great anywhere in the house. At 2 litres capacity, it is not oversized like other fountains and doesn't look like a urinal, which is a problem with a lot of the cheaper fountains. Ceramic material is practical for cleaning and for cats who have allergies to plastic. Easy to Assemble.PROS:We have two cats, each weighing in around 3.5 - 4.5 kilos so not massive kitties. They usually drink from either a stainless steel or ceramic bowl but we are really bad with changing the water regularly and the cat hair would accumulate in the bowl rapidly - not nice or fresh to drink from. We've had this for five weeks now and we're much better at topping up the water and the water is filtered and fresher (aerated) too. No more cat hair in the H2O!CONS and TIPS for Using:They prefer drinking from the lower bowl but have difficulty getting to the water due to the narrow channel especially when the water level gets low. I have taken off one star for this. Topping up the bowl solves the problem so it is easier for them to drink. We do this every four days. When the water level gets low (3-4cm from the top) our cats start drinking from the top bowl, which is just about manageable at our cats' height - they haven't figured out how to drink directly from the flow of the fountain yet. If you refill the bowl with filtered water (note not mineral water) then the charcoal filter will last a lot longer as well. A silent pump but not so silent fountain. At first I kept thinking there was a faucet left running water in the house. It takes getting used to.Bottom line? For £50, it is on the pricey side but entirely worth it.

My Cat and Kitten love this fountain, they drank from it as soon as i placed it on the floor.They have been used to plastic ones before, but they drink much more from this ceramic one, maybe its because this ones flow is more like a running tap.The pump has no noise at all, and the water flow sounds so relaxing a bit like a fish tank not too loud.Its not too big only 11 inches in width.I love that its ceramic, very strong,so simple to clean, and very trendy like a Belfast sink.I would highly recommend this pet fountain it is tough and sturdy i feel it would last a lifetime.Well worth the money.

It was working beautifully - quiet, easy to clean, more hygienic than plastic. Now I have a very expensive ceramic dish which I have to change daily and a nonplussed cat.

Dopo un anno e mezzo di utilizzo continuo confermo che si tratta di un prodotto validissimo.Con poca manutenzione e cambio dei filtri regolare (ma con tempi allungati rispetto a quanto consigliato) la fontanella funziona perfettamente.Il motorino è perfetto.La ceramica consente un facile lavaggio anche in lavastoviglie.Per chi si lamenta o ha avuto problemi con il motorino od altro su altre fontanelle, la consiglio sicuramente.P.s. il filtro in spugna basta lavarlo bene con acqua e sapone e dura almeno 5 volte quanto consigliato!Il filtro a carboni attivi dura oltre il doppio di quanto consigliato, basta ogni tanto toglierlo e farlo asciugare per un giorno

Bin jetzt gerade erst mal nur frustriert! Hab mich voll auf diesen Brunnen gefreut, aber ich kann ihn nicht an die Steckdose anschließen - ein Stecker aus China für englische Steckdosen - passt nicht in deutsche bzw. östreischiche Steckdosen - für einen Preis für über 80 € ist das nicht o.k..Optisch ist der Brunnen sehr schön, werde ihn jedoch zurück schicken, da ich nicht bereit bin nun noch einen passenden Stecker zu besorgen. Schade. Dennoch schnelle Lieferung; Amazon wie immer zuverlässig.06.07.2016Hab die Bewertung von 1 Stern auf 5 hochgesetzt. Hab mir heute vor Ort einen Adapter besorgt und bin nun echt Happy. Der Brunnen läuft sehr ruhig; plätschert angenehm ruhig vor sich hin und das wichtigste meine 3 Katzen haben ihn sofort angenommen.Ein dickes Lob gilt vorm allem auch der Beratung und Betreuung von Amazon. Hab gestern noch mit einer sehr netten Kundenbetreuerin gesprochen und hab ihr meinem Frust geschildert. Danke für euren absolut top Kundenservice!

una svolta per i gatti. bevono più volentieri, cosi sono più idratati e sani. facile da montare, bella da vedere, in ceramica bianca. è semplice anche da pulire. il filtro interno in carboni attivi va cambiato dopo qualche mese. l'acqua scendendo produce un rumore che a qualcuno potrebbe dare fastidio, ma a me piace, è rilassante. consiglio !

Ich bin mit dem Brunnen sehr zufrieden. Unsere 3 Katzen und unser Hund haben ihn alle gut angenommen. Er ist leicht zu reinigen. Geräuschmäßig geht es, wenn er einen etwas niedrigen Wasserstand hat plätschert er schon etwas lauter. Bei uns steht er im Wohnzimmer, da nervt das geplätscher etwas zb. beim Fernsehen. Aber Hauptsache den Kindern gefällts 😁

Facile da assemblare e pulire, consigliata per chi più di 2 gatti, i miei ci bevono anche in 3 contemporaneamente. Si sente solo lo scorrere dell'acqua, la pompa è silenziosa.Subito erano un pò spaventati, ma dopo un paio di giorni hanno capito a cosa serviva e l'hanno amata!
