The battery housing has a tag that needs removing so the button battery can make contact. There is also a spare battery included too. The saddle is well made and the different lighting functions work okay with good brightness. Once fixed to the bike I sat on it and it feels really comfortable. The width of the saddle is great and supportive. I took a quick ride to test it out it felt safe and supportive. A rain cover is included in the kit, very useful although the saddle itself is waterproof. I have a kryptonite cable which i can pass through the hole in the centre of the saddle to secure the saddle to a D lock to deter thieves. Its a good saddle and worth the price. It's next test is a longer ride to see if the support and comfort is maintained over distance.
