Made from 100% recycled plastic and free from harmful chemicals like BPA and phthalates, it features a wide-mouth scoop and classic handle for interactive water play in the bath, pool, or sea. This toy supports imaginative play and motor skill development while promoting environmental awareness. ## Description Take the helm of the Green Toys Submarine for a nautical journey to help protect the planet! Submerge it underwater to explore the terrain at the bottom of the tub, and let it resurface to scan the horizon in search of the next adventure. This sturdy watercraft features a spinning rear propeller, a flat bottom for added stability, and the classic handle and wide-mouth opening combination for plenty of scoop-and-pour fun. Recommended for ages 6+ months. Fill the colourful hull with water, and then watch it pour out the side portholes and wide, front opening. The Submarine floats great, and the wide-bottom design keeps the vessel steady and helps prevent rolling. The handle makes this boat easy to carry, so your little one will love taking it along for adventures during bath time or at the pool or beach. The Submarine is constructed entirely from recycled plastic milk jugs (HDPE #2 plastic), making it an environmentally responsible product. As sturdy and durable as toys come, it is designed to withstand active play. Use the Submarine to teach your child about recycling, helping the environment, saving energy, and reducing greenhouse gases. ## Features - Take the helm of the Green Toys Submarine, featuring a blue handle. - Guaranteed to produce hours of Good Green Fun, whether it be in the bathtub, by the pool or in the sea! - The classic handle & wide-mouth opening combination allows for plenty of scoop-and-pour fun. - Suitable for ages 6+ months. - Made with recycled plastic, safe, non-toxic; contains no BPA, PVC, phthalates or external coatings. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Age Range Description | 6+ months. | | Asin | B008LQXR8W | | Best Sellers Rank | 11,871 in Toys & Games (See Top 100 in Toys & Games) 1 in Kids' Play Submarines | | Brand Name | Green Toys | | Colour | Blue | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (14,447) 4.7 out of 5 stars | | Educational Objective | Facilitate imaginative play, motor skill development, and environmental awareness | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00816409010324 | | Included Components | Submarine | | Is Assembly Required | No | | Item Dimensions | 26.7 x 14 x 10.2 centimetres | | Item Highlight | Made in the USA from 100% Recycled Plastic, No BPA, Phthalates or PVC, Safe for Indoor & Outdoor Play | | Item Part Number | GTSUBB1032 | | Item Type Name | Submarine Cabin | | Item Weight | 0.18 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Green Toys | | Manufacturer Part Number | SUBB-1032 | | Manufacturer Recommended Age | 6 months and up | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | No Warranty | | Material Type | Plastic | | Material Type Free | Bisphenol-A (BPA) Free, Bisphenol-S (BPS) Free, Latex Free, Paraben Free, Phthalate Free | | Model Number | SUBB-1032 | | Number Of Batteries | AA batteries required. | | Number Of Items | 1 | | Number Of Packs | 1 | | Number Of Players | 4 | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Power Source | Manual | | Size | 270 x 150 x 120 millimeters | | Theme | Train | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Upc | 816409010324 | ## Images ![Green Toys Submarine, Blue,270 x 150 x 120 millimeters - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51qs99vQDBL.jpg) ![Green Toys Submarine, Blue,270 x 150 x 120 millimeters - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/718nkcGdSLL.jpg) ![Green Toys Submarine, Blue,270 x 150 x 120 millimeters - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81blhbwD0vL.jpg) ![Green Toys Submarine, Blue,270 x 150 x 120 millimeters - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ssagDA2JL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the compartment maximum pressure between bulkheads at a depth of 700 metres relative to overall atmospheric pressure** A: The bulkheads are conspicuous by their absence so I cannot give you an accurate or relevant computation. However, I can confirm that it descends rapidly to the bottom of my daughter’s bath and swimming pool with consummate ease and is greatly enjoyed by my small grandsons thereby releasing their inner endolphins at a rapid but as yet, unmeasured rate. 🐬🐬 **Q: Whats the fuel capacity and how far can it dive and do it come with nuclear missiles or do i have to pay extra** A: This sub is very eco-friendly and is completely fuel free and can dive to the depths of most standard baths. It doesn't have a nuclear licence but could potentially carry the odd bath bomb. **Q: Can it be opened afterwards to dry?** A: The turret can be opened up and they can also be cleaned on the top rack of the dish washer or by using a bottle brush. **Q: Is this self propelled? Is this self propelled? Looking for a bath toy that swims about by itself :)** A: No it’s just a plastic toy. Doesn’t go nothing like that ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality and such fun *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 23 March 2018* Very cool bath toy. It is robust. The colour tones are very appealing. It will last the whole childhood and more. The rudder moving part seems strong enough to withstand toddler abuse. The item was thoughtfully packaged to limit damage to the environment. It is wonderful to think that such a toy has been made from recycled material. Especially as it seems so much stronger than your average plastic toys. The colour seems to be one that will not be sun bleached due to its finish. It is matte and the surfaces texture is non slippery so little hands love it. It can be taken apart by an adult to clean which is useful as a lot of bath toys cannot be. Therefore stagnant water build up and become mouldy and full of bacteria inside and end up being binned before it’s time. So again, this item will stand the rest of time. The children love playing with this,it offers great imaginative play. It is also a useful tool for hair washing as it can be used as a water dispenser. This can make shampooing fun rather than a tear inducing task! This toy is also worth bringing along to the swimming pool not just for bath time. This is the second Green Toys bath toy we have. We also have the ferry with two cars. The value and quality is clearly consistent within this brand. The only negative is the limited range currently offered by Green Toys. I would like to see the bath time range extended to include similar products such as a warship/hovercraft/rescue board/helicopter etc. Lastly I think the products could be offered in two sizes. The size offered now is more suitable for playing in a pool and not a bath with two children in. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best bathtoy *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 6 January 2026* Easily the best bathtoy I've ever brought for my children. The design allows for water to flow freely through the toy, helping to prevent mould. Great size and fun for the kids. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great quality bath toy *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 21 December 2025* Bought as a gift but we have one already. Great toy for the bath and water play. Can be dishes washed to clean which is a bonus. Recycled plastic too. ## Frequently Bought Together - Green Toys Submarine - BPA, Phthalate Free Blue Watercraft with Spinning Rear Propeller Made from Recycled Materials.
