It's ok, but don't be fooled; It's a very expensive mini-tripod.
I bought this to attach my phone to a bike, which is does perfectly, as long as you're static! The moment you start moving it a sweepstake as to when it will fall off (never longer than 4 min BTW). I paid a little more for the Gekko Pod because I believed the claims that it is a step forward in the design of the mini-tripod; it isn't. It's only good for static use with a lightweight phone, so there a cheaper alternatives that will do just the same but are advertised more honestly. In this case you don't get what you pay for. :-(

Plenty of fakes, this is the real item they all end up copying - I have a fake and it isn't as plyable as the real Gekko.Very happy, but can't really say I need it - more of a stand than something which'll grip 'anything'.
