It was obvious that this was an excellent tool for improving communications not only with current or potential clients but also with the world in general. Unlike some other systems that can amount to covert manipulation of others, Social Styles is a description of communication style preferences that you can share openly with clients, family and friends. In my financial planning practice we would describe the system to clients at the first meeting and help them to identify their own style and how they like to be communicated with. Much easier to read and far cheaper than Merrill and Reids book, definitely a great book for the price would recommend.
