**Q: can it deal with butternut squash?**
A: The only thing mine seems suitable for is courgette! Very weak and fairly useless! Disappointing :(

A: Hi, yes its very easy to clean only 2 parts, the tube and the container, its a great item for parties etc.

**Q: how do i use the spiralizer?**
A: It's quite easy. Feed the veg through the funnel using the black plunger. Courgette carrot and beetroot work well together. Lightly toss the spiralized veg in a frying pan adding seasoning and serve as a main side.

I wasn't really expecting total satisfaction from this machine, but I actually do like it. It is sturdy enough and, after a couple of failed attempts caused by my own inexperience, it spiralized a sweet potato quickly and neatly. It is important to press hard enough on the plunger, and for the veg. to be very firm, otherwise the plunger will lose its grip and the veg. will spin around. If that happens it's easy enough to just cut the mashed end off and start again. The only downside I've found is that the cord storage is rather pathetic and irritating. It's not on a recoil sort of system, you just keep shoving it through the hole until it stays in there. It might have been better with a trap door on the back and pegs to wind the cable around inside … with space for the plug. On the whole, I do like it, and will most likely be using it daily. Spirals cook lots quicker and are fun to eat in many different ways.
