SafcoWire Cubes Storage - Black

I bought two sets of these about a year and a half apart. On the upside, I found the quality of the second set better than the first, with fewer rough edges in the manufacturing, sturdier connectors, and better overall quality. The downside is that the claim that you can fit multiple sets together isn't quite true across versions - they increased the dimensions of the cubes very slightly, and it's significant enough that the older ones won't fit into the connectors at the distance the new ones hold them apart. I managed to *sort of* make them go together, but I was very careful to ensure that I put the older set on top of the newer ones, and to secure it with several cable ties as it didn't really sit in the older ones properly. I only put lighter items in the top set to be on the safe side.Overall I think the quality is about average - it's fairly sturdy for something which is so modular and snaps together with little plastic connectors, but I would worry about putting something heavy on anything but the lowest two layers of cubes.

I've used these to make a C&C cage for our guinea pig family. I love how versatile these are and how we've are able to expand the cage as the GPs grow. They love how much space they have to "popcorn" and run around in. We have two storeys (using two of the grids and a piece of carpet to make a ramp) and they run up and down madly. It might be necessary to build another storey when they get big but these slot together and unslot very easily so it wouldn't be difficult.

Bought 2 of these to make a c&c cage for my kids' guinea pigs. Item shipped and delivered as scheduled, no problems there. However, based on the description of the item and the photo posted one reckons that each package contains 20 grids (indeed if you check the q&a section you will also find that someone has made the question and the answer was 20). Still, both packages i received contained only 16 grids each. Really disappointing and i'm not sure how i should go about it, given that this was an international shipping and the cost of returning the item wouldn't be worth it. Connectors 18 per package.

Initially bought these for a C and C Guinea pig cage which didn't work that well for me but they work well for storage inside my wardrobe which is how I decided to use them instead. I would recommend buying cable ties to fix them together as the feet aren't great

I use these grids to make a guinea pig c+c cage and they fit the purpose perfectly. Packaged well and delivered promptly. I would highly recommend them. The only small issue I would have is with the small grid connectors which are difficult to remove without breaking once attached. However thsee can be easily replaced with cable ties.

I purchased this pack after seeing a suggestion on the internet that uses these for flexible storage options and the cube definitely provides that, I have made one cube with 9 shelves perfect for my needs.

Using this for a guinea pig cage.Makes a typical C&C cage in a 4x2 variation.There are 20 grids allowing for a 1x2 loft too plus one extra as a safety precaution on the side a ramp would be situated for loft access.Very sturdy grids, round flat connecting pieces work well but in my opinion just use small tie wraps for holding it all together securely.If this product is going to be used for home wares,clothing etc my advice is to lay 2 grids side by side on a hard flat surface, position the 2 part connectors below the grids where you wish to connect them together and press down firmly on the floor to snap into place.Dont' do as we did initially trying to clip them on whilst upright,we broke three of them :(If you're looking for a C&C type cage this is by far the cheapest set of grids I found and I do LOTS of research ;)Hope this helps with your purchase.

I bought these to build a C&C cage for my pet hedgehog. They were delivered the day after purchasing and the connectors where much easier to use than others I have had in the past. Really good buy and would definitely get again
