Aveda Volumizing Tonic | Hair Volume Spray for Thin and Fine Hair Types

Really works! Use it if you want lift at the crown. Doesn’t need much so it lasts ages! Definitely recommend.

For fine hair, perhaps thinning a little, and having permed hair. Very good.

I wish I could give full five stars but unfortunately the bottle arrived damaged in the bottom. It’s leaking basically, so I need to leave it upside down to avoid any waste, and if you think how expensive is this product you wouldn’t want to waste not even a drop. I didn’t bother to ask a return because as the actual situation is bad during lockdown, I didn’t want to make this complicated. At the end I can manage. For the rest I can say this tonic is amazing. It does what it says: it really add volume to the hair, they appear very nice and big, and thick as well. The smell is delicate but delicious. I will definitely buy again once finish but I guess I’ll last for long time.

Light hold and good volume, no sticky feel.

Love this product. Non sticky and does exactly what it says it will when instructions are followed. I also have the thickening spray from the same company which i swear by for my long fine hair

I have fine type 2a–c curly hair, and this volumizing tonic works to a certain extent. My hair does look slightly more voluminous after using it, but not in a dramatic “wow” way. It gives a gentle lift rather than a big transformation, which may suit some people but might feel subtle if your hair is very fine. The spray itself is lightweight, doesn’t weigh my curls down, and layers well with other Aveda styling products. When I use it alongside my usual Aveda routine, my hair is definitely less frizzy, and my curls hold their shape nicely without feeling sticky or crunchy. Really cannot get any volune in my hair, so decided to try this..It does give volume on wet hair, doesn't irritate and would buy again

The volumizing tonic adds some volume to my roots when I spray it on damp hair and style with a large round brush. I sometimes under tease my hair at the roots but when I use the tonic, this is minimal. There is no hardness or crunchiness to my hair and it feels on the soft side once dry. It does not weigh my hair down and I condition wash the day after and my hair is still in good condition with no heavy build up.
