I couldn't comment on using them to cut wire. Maybe as a one off 'if you have to' moment if someone has become trapped in a stationary cupboard! I think some wire snips would be a better choice for lots of wire cutting. **Q: Is this a singular pair or a box of 5?** A: I ordered one pair, and received one pair. **Q: Can these cut fibreglass cast open or not?** A: No. Its not even good to cut the cotton dressing **Q: Are they suitable for left handed?** A: I'm not sure I'm right handed so never used them for that.
