It's like any other spinning reel used for bass. **Q: Where are they made where are these made? Cheap China white metal or somewhere with quality?** A: They are made in China. The two I purchased have held up well and seem to be of excellent build quality. I'm not a metallurgist so I can't speak to that, and anyone outside of the manufacturer shouldn't attempt to answer that either. Call Kastking, they are very responsive and helpful, or at least they were to me when I reached out to them. If you are looking for US based reels check out ZeeBaas, IRT, or Penn (only a couple of Penn models though as they've moved most of their mfg overseas). However, all of those reels start at 500-600 and to get one with specs comparable to this reel you're looking at 800-1000. **Q: How much does the size 2000 reel weight?** A: The 2000 weighs 9.1 ounces **Q: Will this reel handle 20 test ?** A: Depending on what you’re targeting and what size reel you’re interested in. The 1000 size can handle 20lbs braid line and can get about 215 yards on the spool. There’s a specification chart in the listing as well. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for the price! *by J***N on May 31, 2026* Smooth action - great replacement for an older reel. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great products! *by C***Y on August 31, 2026* Love the Kastking products! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice reel for the money *by D***1 on September 1, 2026* Gets the job done without spending a lot of money. ## Frequently Bought Together - KastKing Royale Legend II Fishing Reel - 5.2:1 Gear Ratio Spinning Reel, Up to 22 Lbs of Carbon Drag, 5+1 Stainless Steel Ball Bearings, Graphite Frame, Asymmetric Spinning Reel Rotor Design - KastKing SuperPower Braided Fishing Line - Abrasion Resistant Braided Lines – Incredible Superline – Zero Stretch – Smaller Diameter – A Must-Have! - Reaction Tackle Braided Fishing Line - Pro Grade Power Performance for Saltwater or Freshwater Fish - Colored Fishing Line Braid for Extra Visibility --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/480323376-kastking-royale-legend-spinning-fishing-reels-available-in-5-2](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/480323376-kastking-royale-legend-spinning-fishing-reels-available-in-5-2) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
