If the lip balm is oil or Vaseline based then it could cause separation, however if the balm is a more natural one, you would have no problems. I'd recommend the Maybelline Matte ink or L'Oréal liquid lipsticks for something more comfortable. **Q: Is this a good color for a dance show ? Is it a bright red ?** A: This is a lovely bright red but I would advise caution! Having used this for the first time recently, my lips are now very swollen, dry and sore.
