The clip slides really easily so the hat tends to fall off easily. Great material though!

Id recommend to check the measurements and measure your pet as well. The hat fits best for dogs with standing ears and you get a bit of shade from the brim, but not a whole lot. It is however super cute!! SwampMan Craig gets tons of complements on his sunhat every-time we go out to wear it. I bought it so I don’t have to sunscreen the top of his head (as he’s hairless) so it works great for that

Bought a small for my Caviler King Charles and it was tiny tiny and his fluffy ears wouldn't go through the ear holes so I'm returning it for a large because it is so cute!

These hats are the best. One thing that can be annoying to dogs is having their ears covered. These lovely hats have slots to allow your dogs ears to point up. My Yorkie has erect ears. This allows her not to shake her head as much and the hat stays on. My Maltese doesn't mind because his ears are floppy. I like to have the option to pull his ears through the slots or put the hat over his ears. The Yorkie and Maltese both wear a small and weigh 10-12 lbs. They wear the hats during bike rides. They know that the hat represents a bike ride and get very excited when they see it. Just like potty training you can tempt them with treats.The hats are easy to wash, just air dry them to keep the color truly bright.The tie around the neck is perfect and adjusts well. Aren't they cute? My puppy's eyes are covered just for this picture. Usually he wears the hat correctly, in order to enjoy his bike ride.

I live in Texas and summer here is insane. I bought this to protect my dog’s head and eyes, but it was not really useful.My dog’s ears are always up, the hat is made for animals with ears down. I decided to cut it a little bit to make some space for his ears, but it still bothered him very much. It is not very comfortable for him and it pressures his throat.It was a good shopping experience, the product is cute, but didn’t work for my dog. It didn’t serve the purpose it wanted it to.

I contemplated leaving a review for this because I was so sad when it came in, and my return is already processed. I bought this for my 55 lb mutt, who is generally a "medium" in everything. Food, shoes, clothes, everything. This hat came in and it was way too small for her and I was devastated. Please be aware, this would only fit on a 15-20 lb dog, max. It's not for medium-sized dogs.
