Star Wars: Episode VI The Black Series Imperial Royal Guard, 6-inch

Amazing 6 inch version of the famous Royal Guard from Return of the Jedi but they do appear briefly in Attack of the Clones & Revenge of the Sith.The figure has some great articulation, soft goods robe and a force pike to hold,there is also a small blaster pistol in the holster under the robe.There is solid detailing of armor(which looks excellent)that is also hidden by the robe! & you could flip up the material for a different look when displaying.Now you can buy as many as you wish because they are now more widely available & not going for stupid amounts of money!I have 2 standing with the black series Emperor in the middle and they make for a fantastic display!Totally recommend to all Star Wars fans young & old(me).

Yes it's an awesome Royal Guard in 6" scale, it is brilliant however..I got 2 of these and both of them had badly warped legs out of the box they looked far too forced into a small area and with the rubbers bands very tight. This isn't a huge deal for collectors who can use hot water or a hair dryer but it becomes bloody annoying when they can't package figures better when we are paying hugely inflated prices. When I was a kid buying figures for £2.50 they didn't have warped or broken limbs.

Incredible. Any real star Wars fans should have a Member of the elite Imperial Royal Guard im their collection.

Just received two of these awesome looking guards. I remember seeing them emerging from the Emperor's spacecraft when he visited the repaired Death Star in, I think, Empire Strikes Back. After seeing the first movie as a young kid, I wanted to be a stormtrooper, but when I saw the sequel and saw these guys in red, I was fascinated by them, and decided to be one of the Royal Guard when I grew up >.<I ordered two of these to add to my action figures collection, and they look absolutely great. However, like one other reviewer, I have experienced a problem with one of the figures having a slightly warped leg. It is bent outwards slightly, but not at the joint. I have tried to straighten it, but am worried about snapping it. It also seems as if the warped leg is fractionally longer than his other leg. This makes it almost impossible for him to stand up unaided. Fortunately, his long red cloak hides his deformity, though I do have to use some hidden blu-tak to assist him in standing. Other than that I am very pleased with these 6-inch figures.
