Decided to wait a good while before reviewing, to see if up to the job. Well it's not very often I bother posting a review of anything I buy off Amazon but these locks I would highly recommend, two months on & still working fine. Have stopped our little one who's 18 months time and again getting into the kitchen cupboards. Very easy to fit, easy to use and so far no sign of wear or possible breaking. Happy to say I'm very impressed & glad I purchased them at a good price. Little one now reaching up to pull draws open so will be purchasing more! One strap can secure to doors next to each other, or one on its own. Good product, does what it says.

Great product. We had tied our kitchen cupboard handles with string which was a pain to retie every time we needed to access the cupboards. When little one learned to untie the string we needed an alternative but didn't want to leave screw holes in the cupboard doors. These fit the bill perfectly. Easy to install though once the length is set they can't be altered. The adhesive is strong enough to keep them in place and they are easy to open and close for adults but will keep little hands out.

Great item, wish id bought these earlier as my daughter is now exploring everywhere and gets into the detergent and the pots and pans cupboards. These safty locks are of good quality for the price and are so easy to apply, just peel back the paper off the sticky back and apply. Cannot comment about the longevity as only purhased but it seems like they will last. Only warning I would give is that the adhesive seems really strong and I am not that bothered as my cupboards are covered with vinyl wrap but if you have expensive units just be careful where you attach, you dont want to damage cupboard doors when removing the sticky residue

By far the best cabinet locks I’ve purchased over the past 5 years of proofing my home from small children. The flexible plastic strapping means the unit can be used on kitchen cupboards without risk of splitting when the other doors are opened. Also the strapping means the lock can be used in really versatile ways like up an over cupboards. The 3M gluepads are very effective, we’ve not needed to reposition our locks or refresh the adhesive. Our glue pads are fixed to laminate kitchen cupboard doors, mirror and ply. As these have long straps there’s also a practical means to use them as fridge locks. Ensure you’ve measured and achieved the appropriate length strap prior to ‘setting’ the non-latch end, ive not worked out how to readjust this part when I’ve made a mistake. Any users who need to get into the cupboards need very fine motor skills to operate the firm-push-fingertip-slide to unlatch. This isn’t by any means a criticism, in fact it makes the latch extremely effective, just I think that adults/parents who have limited motor function in their finger joints (arthritic, rheumatic, myalgic, circulatory complaints) would be better suited to pinch-release latches instead.

My wife and I were worried about baby proofing the kitchen and living room cupboards. A lot of the solutions available look really flimsy and unreliable. We gave these a try and were and are very impressed. They're not unsightly, they're safe and they are so easy to install it'd be foolish to waste time trying to do anything else. Took minutes for years of protection. Really impressed.

I bought these to use on a glass door to 'lock' the door onto a plastic surround. Really does the trick, the lock has beenb opened and used multiple times a day and so far there has not been any issue with the adhesion or the way it works. It has been in use for about 4 weeks now and I'm really pleased with it, plus I have another 5 to use should the glue wear out!

These are so easy to install and use! They look rather slender, but we've found they can hold up against an extremely determined toddler. They also snap closed really quickly, so if you're ever diving to stop a child from opening something dangerous, it's extremely easy to just tap it shut instead of fiddling with buckles or straps or what have you. Our 3 year old (whom we trust a bit more) can also open and close them easily, which is just what we wanted - if you're trying to keep an older child out of cabinets you might need to use another option or supplement this with something else.

The safety locks are made with strong plastic material and the 3M glue pads are very efficient. The missing star is for the opening trigger. It is an easy mechanism for the babies/children to open it. In some of my black furniture the white safety locks are very easy to spot for my 1 months baby, she has already tried to open them and I guess it will not take long to figure it out since she has already tried to pull the safety trigger. I would have prefered a screw lock or a double safety feature, this just to make the lock opening more challenging for babies
