Renshaw Jet Black Just Roll With It Fondant Icing, 250 g (Pack of 1) - Ready to Roll Icing for Cakes

I was really pleased with this Renshaw fondant icing. It was incredibly easy to work with straight out of the pack—soft, smooth, and truly “just roll with it” as the name suggests. I didn’t need to knead it much, and it rolled out evenly without cracking or sticking. The texture is perfect for covering cakes and creating simple decorations. It gives a clean, professional-looking finish, which is great for both beginners and more experienced bakers. The white colour is bright and neutral, making it ideal for colouring if needed. Taste-wise, it’s pleasantly sweet without being overpowering, and it complements cakes well rather than dominating the flavour. Overall, this is a reliable, high-quality fondant that saves time and effort. I would definitely repurchase it and recommend it for birthday cakes, cupcakes, and special occasions.

This is lovely colour, would have liked it deeper purple. But this is all I could find. Easy to mould and knead, against other makes.

Quality and taste was good, giving 4 stars because it was hard to roll out and pick up, whenever you roll it out and pick it up to put on the cake it just falls apart and crumbles making it hard to get a smooth finish on the sides . Difficult in terms of functionality

This Renshaw “Just Roll With It” fondant icing is great for beginners and very easy to work with. I used it to make small figurines, and it rolled out smoothly without cracking or sticking. The texture is forgiving, which makes it easier to shape and adjust details. The grey colour is useful for modelling and decorative work straight from the pack. Overall, it’s a reliable fondant that’s well suited to simple cake decorating and modelling projects.

Good quality fondant icing. Great taste. We always choose Renshaw when possible as it is the best quality and works well. When we need black icing we always buy it rather than colouring our own as it is nearly impossible to create black icing with food colouring.

So easy to use, smooth, soft, easy to roll and the colour is stable and throughout the whole block not patchy at all. I was making my sons wedding cake and he only eats devil food cake with chocolate fudge icing so I needed a chocolate coloured fondant to cover the cake, this was perfect, I used a small amount of the filling on the outside of the cake so the fondant was able to stick to the cake and it worked really well. If you want to use this fondant to model flowers or figures it is a little soft when worked so keeping it cool once formed is helpful until it naturally dries and can hold the shape you want. I used 2 250g packets to cover an 8inch round cake, this amount gave a good coverage with barely any waste, what is left has been saved to make a couple of small figures or a couple flowers. Although the fondant is quite soft it is not sticky making it wonderful to work with, I have used a lot of fondant icing over the years and this is by far the smoothest I have ever used. As for the value it isn't overpriced but also not the cheapest but the quality makes it fantastic value for the money. I could only find the 250g packs but larger packs would be better for larger cakes but the packs do combine really nicely. I can recommend this fondant icing for your needs

“I tried Just Roll it fondant from Renshaw for the first time when I was decorating my daughter’s 1st birthday cake at home. The package comes as a smooth, pliable block wrapped in a thin plastic sheet, nothing artificial. I kneaded it for a few minutes to soften it up and it became very easy to roll out to an even thickness without cracking or tearing. It drapes over a buttercream‑crusted cake smoothly and holds fine convenient for beginners, consistent texture, good flavor, comes in a variety of colors. I’d definitely reach for it again for a straightforward, “clean” cake project.

The colours are great. Unfortunately I ordered 3x baby blue and recieved 2x blue and 1 orange. Made my cake difficult to ice!it's good stuff but order in plenty of time just incase you get the wrong colours!

Muy buena calidad. Fácil de moldear. Para cubrir una tarta grande harían falta dos paquetes. Que yo mo supe calcularlo y por si alguien tiene dudas. Pero la pasta es perfecta

Der fondant,der aus England kam,war schnell geliefert.die Qualität,perfekt,selbst fondant Anfängern gelingt mit diesem ausgangs Produkt ein schönes Ergebnis,denn er ist von der Struktur her sehr einfach auszurollen und formbar.der Geschmack ist sehr angenehm weil er nicht so überzuckert ist,die Farbe weiß die ich benutzte war ein sehr schönes strahlendes weiß, das ich mit der Farbe des selben lieferanten gut und leicht einfärben konnte, hab mich aber dann doch dafür entschieden die Farbe nicht ganz einzuarbeiten,so das es eine Art mamorierung auf der Torte ergab. Und der preis für den fondant ist sowieso unschlagbar.für mich persönlich ist das der einzige fondant den ich weiter empfehle,nie wieder einen anderen
