Comfortable, quick and affordable!
I used the medela symphony in hospital and was looking for a breast pump that would be as quick to use. I'm getting my masters degree so I don't have time to sit around pumping all day!!! I love this pump, it's really quick and simple to use - I typically empty both breasts in about 12-15 minutes. I know it differs for each person but I think I have pretty average supply. I didn't think the different settings would be that useful but they've been great some days just using a different setting will make my milk come out quicker or make my experience more comfortable. I would say that I find it more comfortable than the medela symphony because there are less harsh angles in the funnel bits you put your nipples in. It is a little loud and makes a bit of a mooing sound which we all laugh at at home - but this really is the ONLY downside and it's really not that big of a deal. The fact that it was about half the price of other brands too makes me so grateful I went with this pump. Also, you do need to purchase a pump bra if you use both at the same time like I do - I just got a cheap one from Amazon and it works like a dream. Also when I say that it's a little loud - it's not so loud that you can't hold a regular volumed conversation or hear the TV or anything. It's just audible and the sound turns into background noise pretty quickly. I only say this because when I was looking for pumps people would comment on how loud they were and I nearly bought a much more expensive one that supposedly had less suction and I'm so glad I didn't.

Excellent Breast Pump
This breast pump is brilliant!! It's so easy to use and the suction power is great. If you're anything like me, constantly researching and trying to find out whether it's worth paying out or not then honestly you'll be really glad purchasing this product. I've never expressed and this was my first experience and honestly I can say it was amazing! I managed to fill up my bottles in 20 mins. I would definitely recommend this Lansinoh breast pump, comes with a carry bag which is ideal, it does make a noise but it's not really loud, just the pumping sound. I was soo skeptical buying a breast pump, but it's helped so much and my husband can also feed the little one now allowing me to have time to do other things. There are 2 different cup sizes for the breast which is great as you can measure which one suits you. As with every product not one suits all but I would definitely recommend this to mothers who have never used a breast pump before.

Easy to use and near hospital grade strength
I loved the pump for its ease of use and speed. As it’s a double and connected to mains it’s powerful and could get a full pump done in 10-15 minutes. Easy to clean and straight forward function buttons. Felt similar to the hospital grade pumps in strength without being painful. Was also great value for money and more reasonably priced than lots of other pumps with similar suction strength. Only challenge was it not being portable and having a toddler. But other portable ones I have tried didn’t have the same speed or capacity to get the same volume of milk

The best for nursing mom's
With an 11year gap between my two children everything felt bran new. Having only managed to breast feed for two weeks with my first. I decided to do some research as manually expressing with my first was a complete disaster. I came across a few pumps, what was rate (top of the range) I decided to go with the lansinoh double pump and it was best decision. Lansinoh states that there's no milk that feeds back into the tubing which is completely true. Which means you only need to clean and sterilise the breast cups and bottles. A lot of reviews raved about the noise but it doesn't bother me at all and it doesn't wake my baby girl. Double pumping can feel a little invasive so the adjustable suction levels was perfect and doesn't leave you feeling like a human cow. The only thing I'd highly recommend is buying a pumping bra. Having done my research I found a lot of people complained about it not being hands free. Lansinoh do suggest buying a pumping bra especially if your busy like I am. Having already got both breast pump and bra before my baby girl arrived was a godsend. I first tried it without the pumping bra and I felt uncomfortable but using the bra made me feel a lot more relaxed and still able to use my hands for other things. I would really suggest anyone buying this to also invest in one. I bought the simple wishes pumping bra which is also on Amazon for about £36 small to large. The straps are adjustable and come with an extra adjustable zip which was perfect. The lansinoh double pump has allowed me to express around my busy lifestyle. It also makes me feel great that I'm still giving my baby breast milk as I struggle to breast feel naturally with latching on and my nipples feeling really sore or sensitive. The other thing I really loved was that it you can manually customise this bump to your baby's needs. I wasn't sure on how you did that at first put you pick it up and it simulates your babys feeding. I've been expressing for 3 weeks now and feel very confident that having this will keep my milk flowing for few months. If any new moms are struggling with milk production this is perfect. I pump 4 to 5 times a day for 15 minutes but if I find my milk flow is a little less I just add an extra session in and it boosts my milk supple. This is a bit of long review but if there's anyone like me you like to know all the little details to help you decide.

So far so good
FTM and totally bewildered by the sheer choice and variation in pumps. This pump has been pretty straight forward so far, then pump comes partially assembled (with all the fiddley bits) and the instructions are clear so when you take it apart to clean you know what should be where and how when you reassemble. No complaints so far, great price for a double pump too considering you can pay triple the price for other brands. I'll come back to update the review once I've used it more substantially, but rn very happy with the purchase! EDIT: I've been using this now for 6 months and honesty it's been a lifesaver. The settings are pretty simple but rotating through then each pump gives me a decent yeild. Still haven't needed to replace any parts and I use it on average 3 times a week I reckon. Discovered it's portable too but does run through batteries fairly quickly but is a great feature if I need to jump up and grab baby or do something else whilst pumping.

Very Disappointed
Hi, I was very happy with this when it first arrived. I was delighted to finally have a good brand name pump that was going to last me unlike the cheaper options I'd used previously, and it was comfortable and easy to use. But I haven't had it for more than a few weeks now and it's no longer working efficiently, I already have to buy new parts for it and they cost nearly as much as the pump. There's air getting in somewhere so I've replacement the valves, and the flanges, tightened the top you name it.. But the suction still isn't as good. It's as if there's a hole somewhere I cant find so there's only efficient suction on one side while the other side only half pulls. I'm really frustrated by this because honestly the cheap brand I had before this lasted me alot longer and since it broke they refunded me and I used that money towards getting this thinking the better brand would last me longer, but the quality of material is the exact same only the valves last longer in the cheaper brand and I actually can't afford to replace all the parts of this having JUST invested in it. Not one but happy because now I have to go buy another pump one that's easier to get buys for 😕

Definitely recommend for let-down function & electronic display
Everything is great about this machine - let down function when starting a session is especially useful to stimulate production, as is the timer, as is the control over suction speed and pressure. It's amazing for the price! Especially considering more expensive models do not all have an electronic display. The flanges may not fit but have nice cushions around the edge so if they fit they're likely to be superior to other flanges g hopefully you are lucky enough to suit one of the sizes supplied with the machine! I have a large cup size (L to M cup post-partum) and Lansinoh recommended over the phone that Medela flanges do fit on this machine so I use those. They are launching a bigger size soon they said. Angela at Lansinoh even offered to refund me due to this so the manufacturers customer service us great. Glad I stuck with this though even with the flange size issue! The bottles are a bit too long for my personal comfort so I use Tommee Tippee adaptor rings and attach their Express & Go milk pouches. Again this could be me as I'm not an average-sized. The machine is great and I prefer it to several others. Definitely recommend.

Decent pump but flanges are not designed properly
My only gripe with this product is that the flanges have not been designed properly. They also only offer a small and large size and do not come in an XL so if you have large areolas or nipples you will be in discomfort. I found that my nipples were constantly being tugged which caused quite a bit of pain. Also as the flanges are not angled downwards you end up with back pain while pumping as you have to lean forward to ensure the milk pours into the containers. It's a design flaw so I ended up purchasing pumping pals flanges which are designed better. However definitely not an additional expense you should have to make. Therefore it's not really good value for money. Also suction could be better it's not anywhere near as strong as a baby. On the plus side it's easy to clean.

Consigliato
