However the bulkiness of the alarm can annoy some people having it on their keys. The small design looks greats and performs well. The security alarm comes with a LED light on the front, which has come very useful when in the dark and especially when unlocking the front door.To set the alarm off the key chain has to be pulled out, and the only way to reset is to put the chain back in. In an emergency this feature will become vital as you are able just to pull the chain wherever it is. However if not in an emergency and reaching for your keys from a pocket I felt scared of it coming out and setting the alarm off. If someone tried to grab it, I only have to grab hold of the keyring, which should come out of the alarm, to set the alarm off. And this certainly works! The alarm is very, very loud - we tested it when it arrived (haven't seen the cat since!) and it works easily - just pull out the pin to set it off, reinsert to stop the deafening noise. Two attachment options, small and discreet, with clear usage instructions. Follow up customer service is excellent - the Tips for keeping safe are a useful freebie.We purchased this for our daughter who is moving out of home. She has it attached to her keyring. Fingers crossed that she never has to use it.
