Jason Flaxseed Hi-Shine Styling Hair Gel

Such great hair gel. Shame we can't always get it in the UK now.

This is an effective, non greasy get which affords good hold for styling and washes out easily. It is, as described, glossy when applied so won't suit anyone who prefers a matt finish. The good sized tube should last well as not a great deal of the product is required in daily usage.

Made my hair too wet when I used it on dry hair and it spoiled my styling. I wanted to make my daytime style more edgy but it just looked kinda messy sadly. I will try using less in case it was just an issue with amount . Great on wet hair tho for my everyday look. Smells good. Jason products tend to smell to strong for me but this product was fine.

Its, natural, non sticky, smells nice and keeps my hair in place. What's not to love!

Fantastic gel for styling and price affordable. However, I can smell Alcohol, and Frangrance * Certified Organic ingredients, description not acurrent. Please make gel without alcohol or Frangrance, better with essential oils, we dont want weaker immune system and distribution hormonal system for humans. Additionally, weaker hair. Thank you.

I love that this is natural. I wouldn't recommend it for mixed race hair as it doesn't have any shine. Still after a good product for my son that is natural.

I have used Jason's Styling Gel for my bangs for years. It holds without heaviness or a greasy residue. It keeps the hair from just drooping or laying flat.

So, I switched to a more natural lifestyle overall for a lot of reasons. I then started to read stories here and there about certain gels giving people cancer. One of those brands in fact, I happened to be using. It scared the fecal matter out of me, so I did some research on gels. My hair is gorgeous long wavy/curly and thick but prone to floofing and frizzing. At its floofing stages, it loses definition and I needed a gel that could calm my hair, add some shine, and re-create definition as needed. So when I ordered this I noticed how small the bottle was but thought maybe I'd use less of it to compensate. So here's my honest review: I've been using this for about 6 months at this point and I have to say that, overall, I really like it. The scent of it is light and fresh (unisex in nature) and not overpowering. Clean really. It does add shine and definition and doesn't crunch. I've not had issues with flaking or dust either. The one issue that I noticed is that it does tend to dry out the ends of hair. How I compensate for this is to use aloe vera in my hair first to give it moisture and to begin the definition process. I add a good amount to my ends and then I add a bit of this gel to keep my hair in place. I do add a bit to my ends, but they do not dry out because of the aloe. My favorite aspects of this gel are the fragrance and the shine that it adds to hair while controlling it. Hope this helps!

I love that this gel features nontoxic ingredients. It does work well for slick hairstyles or putting in wet hair. Unfortunately it can make hair feel a bit tacky and frizzy. It is easy to use, and it is not too heavy on hair.. just does not form my curls as well as other products I have tried. It smells very light and fresh and it has lasted me longer than i expected.
