I bartended for about ten years before I decided to become middle aged so I feel fairly in the know about these things. Anyway... Good tin, nice, light and flexy. Fits well against the Boston glass with a good seal. Won't come apart when shaking. The glass is everything it should be... Solid and thick, can take a knock. The strainer fits perfectly, and the wings on the edge make straining against the tin/glass easy. You'd think it would be hard to get these things wrong but I've come across some rubbish over the years. These on the other hand, are very good. Delivery was a bit slow but it arrived in perfect condition so no complaints.

Good quality, thick glass and a decent size. Would be good if the strainer had a finger rest but generally very pleased with the product. Delivery was also very smooth.

Bought for use at home by my son, who works in a bar serving cocktails. He reports it is sturdy, robust and of good quality. He did not think that the filter was as effective as it could be though and would have liked it to have come with a measure.

I have recently bought this shaker as another one as a spare (not had it a month yet) I work as a mixologist and having a glass crack for the first time using it isn't ideal. The Boston tin is good quality for the price. If a replacement can be sent I'm happy to change my rating but until then there's not more I can rate.

Je peut enfin faire mes potions magiques sans en mettre partout. Pour les débutants comme moi il suffit juste de prendre la précaution lorsqu'on secoue de tenir le shaker avec la partie métallique en bas. Très efficace par sa capacité correcte et son rangement sans prendre de place, je suis satisfait de cet achat.

Nothing fancy, just practical. Great price for a great product. Seals perfectly, and it's easy to break the seal after mixing. The glass is tough (3.5 food drop onto rock tile floor and not even a chip. The steel is thin, but that's typical for most Boston shakers. If your looking for a steel cup that doesn't transfer a lot of cold then there are a few shakers that are thicker and will provide more protection, however they are also notoriously harder to break the seal by gently pushing in on the steel cup. This cup is very flexible. I already bought another one to allow me to make multiple cocktails swiftly.
