The rich, slightly umami flavour is much nicer than standard mayonnaise, and the 450g bottles are a good size. The two-pack is handy too. One for now, one for when you inevitably realise you've somehow used the entire first bottle. 😂 Review: Try it, you’ll love it - Absolutely the very best mayo I have used, it’s exceptionally tasty, creamy and multiple repeat purchases, a little pricey but so worth it. ## Features - PREMIUM JAPANESE MAYONNAISE – Kewpie Mayonnaise is a creamy, smooth condiment made with high-quality ingredients for rich umami and authentic Japanese taste. - VERSATILE CULINARY USES – Ideal for sandwiches, salads, sushi rolls, dressings, dips, marinades, and enhancing a wide range of recipes. - RICH & FLAVORFUL – Made with premium eggs, vegetable oil, and a hint of rice vinegar, delivering a subtle sweetness and well-balanced flavor. - VALUE PACK OF 2 – Includes two 450g bottles, perfect for frequent use at home, parties, or professional kitchens. - TRUSTED JAPANESE BRAND – Produced by Kewpie, Japan’s iconic mayonnaise brand, renowned worldwide for quality and consistency. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B003TJATBY | | Allergen Information | Contains: Barley, Eggs, Mustard, Soy | | Allergen information | Contains: Barley, Eggs, Mustard, Soy | | Best Sellers Rank | 2,778 in Grocery ( See Top 100 in Grocery ) 6 in Mayonnaise | | Brand | Kewpie | | Brand Name | Kewpie | | Coin Variety 1 | Mayonnaise | | Container Type | Bottle | | Cuisine | japanese cuisine | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 6,225 Reviews | | Diet Type | Vegetarian | | Flavour | Mayonnaise | | Item Form | Cream | | Item Package Weight | 0.96 Kilograms | | Item Weight | 900 Grams | | Item weight | 900 Grams | | Manufacturer | QP | | Model Number | F0656 | | Number of Items | 2 | | Number of Pieces | 2 | | Package Size Name | Pack of 2 | | Package information | Bottle | | Part Number | F0656 | | Set Name | 2 | | Size | 500 g (Pack of 2) | | Speciality | Vegan | | Specialty | Vegan | | Unit Count | 900.0 gram | ## Product Details - **Allergen information:** Contains: Barley, Eggs, Mustard, Soy - **Brand:** Kewpie - **Flavour:** Mayonnaise - **Item form:** Cream - **Item weight:** 900 Grams - **Package Size Name:** Pack of 2 - **Package information:** Bottle - **Package weight:** 0.96 Kilograms - **Speciality:** Vegan - **Variety:** Mayonnaise ## Images ![Mayonnaise 450g (Pack of 2) | Rich, Umami-Packed Japanese Mayo - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81HdABWRZ6L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: How does this taste like if compared to Kraft or Calve mayo?** A: At first it may seem a bit "saltier" but it isn't really. It tastes more like a home made mayonnaise. When you taste Kewpie and then taste Kraft or Calve, you notice how very sweet the European brands are. I much prefer Kewpie; it keeps longer, too. **Q: Expiration date. i've received them on 04 apr 2018. the best before date: 1.12.2018. how should i read it? day-month-year or month-day-year?** A: So, read as 1st Dec 2018. Have never received short dated on these, just to reassure you :) hope you enjoy **Q: Is this product gluten free or not? There is no gluten-containing grain in the ingredients, and yet the manufacturer claims it contains gluten.** A: If a product doesn't explicitly state gluten free and you require it for health reasons I would avoid it. It's a Japanese brand so may have different legal requirements on allergy info **Q: Do you get 2x500g as stated as a lot of people have said they only received 1 pack** A: yes 2 packages of 500 you will receive ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant to have in the fridge *by B***N on 6 September 2026* Brilliant to have in.
