Gilmore Girls Season 7 [DVD] [2010]

I have seen on the message boards that some people did not care for gilmore girls too much after season 3, but I found the programme to go from strength to strength. Except for the programmes continuity from time to time and use of one actor for a couple of different parts, namely jess's dad's gf/anna nardini and Lane's 'cousin'/girl who was supposed to be an exchange student, the programmes were flawless, well acted, well written, well executed. Many US series like this get a bit too sickly with sentiment, but gilmore girls had the right amount of everything. There were a lot of questions unanswered at the end, but there was no other way to do it, you just had to use your imagination, like any well written piece it left an opening for more, which reflects life. This season is so well worth watching, it has laughter, tears, a bit of sentiment and leaves you still wanting more and caring about the characters, which is very much down to the acting. The only really awful thing on this were the really BAD fake British accents by the Logan work colleagues. I wish Americans would get English people really don't talk like that, such affected accents were cringe worthy and I had to fast forward those parts, would have worked much better with either real English people, or just keeping the American accent they have, as it would not have been that noticed.

After seeing all the previous six seasons it was a must to get the 7th season. The characters were all exceptionally well cast and the screenplay very well thought out, to make it compulsive viewing. The only point I raise is that the dialogue was spoken at a galloping pace, but that tends to make you run through the series again and again to piece together what perhaps went over your head first time round, apart from that just think of the outcome as 120% value for your money on running time. You have to have seen the series from episode one disc one to appreciate the quality of the performances, following Rory and Lorellei through their trials and tribulations you never could determine what they were likely to do next.The matriach grandmother Emily is so believable and forthright it's a wonder we have not seen her on the screens this side of the big pond in one of our period productions, watch your backs Dames Judy and Helen.Every character has been cast extremely well, and all the playaction was well thought out. In all, this is a series you can watch time after time, in rescreening when going back over seven years items come up that you might have forgotten, but also there are over 20 episodes in each series which is makes then very resonable. Sorry to bore but this is American drama at it's best.

An obvious buy (and long overdue, this took forever to be released in Europe!!) for any Gilmore Girls addict, this box only lacks more extras, which you'd expect from a very loved show that aired for 7 years. The names of the episodes don't show on the menus, for some reason, but that wasn't a good enough reason to return the box (a lot of them probably have the same problem).Incredible writing and an amazing cast keep the show funny, crazy and moving till the end. It will leave you crying and wanting for more. Which means you have to go back to season one all over again like a good addict :)

If you love Gilmore Girls then season 7 certainly won't disappoint you. As always the girls wit and humour keep you laughing throughout, while relationship issues make you cry. I have always loved the Gilmore Girls and will re-watch them over and over again. If you have bought all the previous seasons then I doubt there is any need to explain further.

Gilmore Girls 7 follows the much loved pattern in this family's life. I didn't want it to come to an end and hope that they do make a film or a final series to tie up the loose ends. The narrative is witty and fast, relationships are tender and poignant and the backdrop a romantic view of small town life. My daughter and I loved cuddling up to bask in each episode and anticipating what would happen next. We compared our relationships with those on screen and it encouraged me to cherish mine more.

Beautifully written,acted,and filmed,for me the Gilmore Girls represents the best that TV can offer.Funny,sad,dramatic,moving (sometimes all at once!),i cannot recall an episode that i was disappointed in.People have their favourite seasons with most shows,but I've enjoyed every season equally.If I was allowed only one show to watch,it would be GG (plus Frasier if I were allowed two!).And,like most GG fans,I would love to live in Stars Hollow.The only place on earth where someone like Kirk could get a sweetheart like Lulu!

We all loved the series and are sorry there was no series 8. However, I regret buying via Amazon and want them to start paying tax on their UK profits. It's all well and good getting things cheaply and quickly but, over the medium term, the unfair advantage given by not paying tax will see the book shops close, High Streets decline and great companies and employers like John Lewis and Marks & Spencer disappear.

Buying this Video Gilmore Girls was amazing. I have watched all the other DVDs. I love the story and I have even watched the final story on NETFLIX. Wonderful

Esta es una de mis series favoritas y necesitaba tenerla. Creo que han sacado una nueva serie o una temporada nueva. Espero con ansia su salida al mercado.

Ich würde gern über alle 7 Staffeln berichten.. ich habe jetzt wirklich alle Serien angeschaut und ich finde sie sehr amüsant! Es gibt vieles aus dem realen Leben, aber auch unrealistische Momente, die den Film eben witzig machen!Ich kann mit den Serien sehr gut dem Alltag entfliehen und entspannen, aber auch am Wochenende einfach gute Zeit verbringen. Ich finde sie immer gut anzuschauen und deswegen gibt es 5 Sterne!!!Ich würde mich freuen, wenn die Gerüchte über neuen Staffeln stimmen, aber nur wenn sie wieder so gut sind, wie bis jetzt...!
