Housed in a unique biophoton violet glass bottle, it protects delicate polyphenols and flavor from light degradation. Certified organic by Soil Association and EU standards, it boasts ultra-low acidity (<0.4%) and surpasses EU polyphenol requirements, delivering antioxidant benefits with every drizzle. Winner of the Great Taste Double Gold 2025, this single-origin, first cold pressed EVOO offers a bold, peppery finish that speaks to its authentic harvest heritage. ## Description Product Description Koroneiki from Crete Hand-picked. First cold pressed. One variety, not a blend. Taste real character β€” fruit, then that peppery β€œalive” finish. 500 ml of Greek extra virgin olive oil. Exclusive biophoton violet glass Purpose-built for our olive oil. It filters light that fades flavour, aroma, and steals freshness. It can help protect freshness, aroma, and character versus clear glass. A tamper-proof pourer keeps each bottle close to authentic. UK and EU organic + Soil Association High polyphenol character β€” and the authorised claim Naturally high phenolic character; a peppery β€œalive” finish. Olive oil polyphenols contribute to the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 20 g of olive oil. OrganicOrganic surpasses the EU high polyphenol requirement (5 mg of hydroxytyrosol and its derivatives per 20 g β€” about 250 mg/kg of those compounds). Very low acidity β€” below 0.4% β€” a quality attribute, well under the 0.8% EU extra virgin maximum. Great Taste Double Gold 2025 (officially 2-Star). Award-winner since 2011.
