Purchased to protect my new phone's screen after the last one got smashed, this is a good quality product. It's relatively easy to fit, durable, and keeps the touch sensitivity of the screen.However, being glass, it only fits onto the flat portion of the screen, meaning it stops short of the edges and is very noticeable, so it leaves your phone looking a bit daft.That said, if protecting your phone is top priority, when couple with a silicone case, it does work very well!

It does exactly as advertised

As long as you clean the screen well, the protector sticks on brilliantly. (At first I had a couple of specs of dust on the screen which created air bubbles so I lifted the protector off, cleaned again and then all was good)Easy to use and great value, arrived quickly. Highly recommended.

As reported by others this glass is strangely too short/small to cover the screen entirely. I understand that there may be some shortfall to avoid it reaching the area of the the screen that naturally starts to curve round, but this seem to stop way shorted than that. See attached photo. However, as you can see in the photograph, with the transparent soft case that I also bought the gap doesnt look quite so prominent but it is still visible. Clarity of the screen is very good and touch response is more than adequate - only the edging is an imperfection in my opinion. (To be honest, it baffles me why they made it so small).Mounting it was always a nervous time as Im aware that the minutest speck of dust underneath would show through once it was mounted. So I recommend to do as I did: I planned and ensured I applied the protector glass immediately after removing the initial manufacturer protector film from the new phone - thus maximising the chances of there being no grease or scratches beforehand. Despite all care being taken I still ended up with a microscopic dot of dust under the glass! (I know its there, and because I know, I can see it and this annoys me). And you cant peel these glass screens off and re-apply - you have 1 go only.

This is my 3rd one , as i've dropped my phone on hard surfaces twice before, once i thought my own screen was completely destroyed and wud of been only for this protector.never had any problems putting it on just make sure you have the surface completely clean form any marks or dust using the sticker and cloth including the wipe that comes with it, then just let the protector sit on your screen without pressing it , it will bond itself after a few seconds , once its done then you can wipe over it , pressing at the same time with the cloth that came with it. perfect fit and never had any bubbles or other issues. wud buy again if needed

I feel a bit disloyal writing a bad review about this product as I have always used Techgear screens to protect my phones and those of my family. This protector is too narrow for the screen and although the seller tells you in the advert that they need to make this product smaller than the screen due to the 'curve' on the front screen this interferes with the visibility of the screen. You have two lines going down each side of the phone. In addition this leaves vulnerable edges if you accidentally drop the phone ( cracks often appear on the corners and edges in my experience).If this wasn't enough after fighting my corner and asking for a refund they sent me a Returns label which asks you to pay for the return postage (this in not legal when an item is not fit for purpose in this country) but after waiting three weeks for my refund I had to ask Amazon A to Z to step in and get my refund. Shocking service and sadly the end of my long term relationship with Techgear.
