This isn't just "duct tape" – it's a heavy-duty, problem-solving, can't-live-without-it essential. From the moment you unroll it, you can feel the quality. The double-thick adhesive is no joke; it grips like nothing else, even on those awkward, uneven, or slightly rough surfaces where other tapes just give up. I've used it for everything from patching up a leaky shed roof to securing cables, reinforcing tools, and even making temporary repairs on outdoor gear. It handles it all with incredible tenacity. What truly sets it apart for me is its all-weather resilience. Living in the UK, we know all too well that the elements can be brutal. This tape shrugs off rain, wind, and even prolonged dampness without losing its incredible stick. I've had repairs hold strong through torrential downpours where lesser tapes would have peeled away within hours. The 32-metre length is also a massive bonus. You get a serious amount of tape, meaning you're not constantly running out mid-project. It's surprisingly easy to tear neatly by hand too, despite its robust nature, which saves time and fumbling for scissors. Honestly, if you need a tape that you can truly rely on for almost any repair, indoors or out, the Gorilla Tape Black 32m is worth every penny. It's a proper workhorse that delivers on its promises and then some. I wouldn't be without a roll in my toolkit now! Review: Incredibly strong and sticky. Maybe too strong and sticky. - I'm going to give this product five stars because it absolutely does what it says it does, and it does it very well. It's extremely strong, extremely long, extremely sticky tape. Having said that, I have had a lot of negative experiences with this tape. This is largely through my own fault so I won't lower the rating, but be aware that this tape is incredibly sticky and strong. I mean, the most sticky and strong tape you could possibly imagine. No, stronger and sticker than that. If it sticks to itself, it's not coming apart ever. If it sticks to your hair, your hair is absolutely leaving your body. If it sticks to a pet, you're about to be very unpopular. Be very careful where you apply this tape. Think before putting it anywhere you don't want tape to be because once it's there, it'll stay there and won't be leaving on its own. Although... don't try and use this tape with wet hands. If the glue gets the tiniest bit wet before use, it's not sticky at all. I mean, not even a little bit. It's quite bizarre but given its amazing water resistance once stuck, it's surprising how un-waterproof it is before application. So, water before use = useless tape. Water after use = no hope of removing it. ## Features - Warning:Contains fragrances that may cause allergies - Warning:To be used under the direct supervision of an adult - TOUGH, WEATHER RESISTANT SHELL: Helps create a barrier that can withstand moisture, UV and temperature changes - STRONG REINFORCED BACKING: Offers incredible strength and toughness - DOUBLE THICK ADHESIVE: Grips rough, smooth uneven surfaces - USE TO: Fix, Patch, Seal, Hold, Protect, Repair, Create & Reinforce ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001W030HC | | Adhesive Format | solid | | Adhesive Location | Double Sided | | Adhesive Material | Double-thick adhesive | | Adhesive Side Count | 2 | | Best Sellers Rank | 76 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 2 in Duct Tape | | Brand | GORILLA | | Colour | Black | | Compatible Material | tape | | Configuration | 48mm x 11m, Double-thick adhesive, Reinforced backing, Weather-resistant shell (GOR3049001) | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 24,592 Reviews | | EU Spare Part Availability Duration | 1 Years | | Included Components | Gorilla Tape Black 11m | | Item Resistance | water_resistant, weather_resistant | | Item Type Name | Gorilla Tape Black 48mm x 11m - 3044001 | | Item Weight | 1.76 Ounces | | Manufacturer | Gorilla | | Manufacturer Part Number | 3044000 | | Material | Fabric | | Model Number | 3044000 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of items | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Strong,Weather | | Package Size Name | 11m Tape | | Product Warranty | 1 year manufacturer. | | Size Name | 11m | | Special feature | Strong,Weather | | Surface Recommendation | Multi Surface | | Surface recommendation | Multi Surface | | UPC | 772040544539 616268268740 771948799256 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Water Resistance Level | Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** GORILLA - **Colour:** Black - **Material:** Fabric - **Number of items:** 1 - **Special feature:** Strong,Weather ## Images ![Tape Black 11m - Heavy Duty Duct Tape, Hand-Tearable & Extra Strong - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81QayudIJGL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size, Number Of Items** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can you walk on walls with this tape?** A: So let’s start by identifying the gravitational pull on the average adult male, this works out to 877.461N While this product is not the double sided mounting tape (which may be a more suitable option for your desired use). That product is rated at 30lb which is equal to 133.4466 Newton’s The human body produces 1250n of force to lift your leg so as long as the force of the tape did not exceed this then you will be able to lift your leg up. So the average American weights 197lb, theoretically 7 strips of mounting tape when their rating is added together would equate to 210lb of force, this is clearly not correct in reality. There will be some compound effect but this will be negligible compared to the required force. Now it is possible to create a cumulative effect over a large surface area to spread the force and gorilla tape can be used to hold a human to a wall. However once the inertia of the hold is broken it would be difficult to reestablish. Given all of this Information it would appear that it is impossible to use gorilla tape to walk on a wall. I would say if your desire is to walk on a wall then don’t consider this product as an option but you might want to consider getting bitten by a radio active spider and become spider man. **Q: can u use gorilla tape for artificial grass?** A: Never tried it but the the tape has stuck to everything I have used it on **Q: Would this work for ear stretching?** A: Sorry but this is hilarious to me. I must be aged. My first thought was if I were going to stretch something it would not be my ear! In any event, this tape is great for nearly everything. I was just explaining to my wife how this tape is now used to create a rear handhold on my iPad, it is used to also hold together my iPhone after i screwed up reassembly. I use this tape for everything and when done with temp projects, peal the tape and attach to cupboards for later use. This is a great improvement on the Vietnam era "100 mph tape." Ear stretching? Not sure but now I am thinking... **Q: Would this be suitable to use to stick carpet mats on carpeted stairs?** A: Would stick this down as with most things but unsightly and would over time get dirty and messy. But if it is to stick carpet where you can put a plant pot on the top then this will do the trick ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best of them all... *by G***. on 26 June 2025* Why did you choose this product over others?: As a self-proclaimed DIY enthusiast and general fixer-upper, I've used my fair share of tapes, and let me tell you, Gorilla Tape Black 32m is in a league of its own. If you need something stuck down permanently, this is your best friend. The adhesive is insanely strong, it grips like crazy and once it’s on, it’s ON. I’ve used this for all kinds of things, even stuff you wouldn’t think of. Need to stick an extension lead under a desk? Done. Need a sleek black sign? I literally wrapped cardboard in this tape to create a smooth matte black look. I even use it to stick up posters (WARNING—it WILL rip your paint off so be careful with that one). It’s so versatile and durable and this particular roll is HUGE. When I first got a smaller roll I ran out quicker than expected so I upgraded to this and it’s definitely worth the price. It lasts forever and I’ve barely made a dent in it. ✔️ Pros • Super strong adhesive sticks like crazy • Massive roll lasts ages • Versatile - works on everything from DIY to quick fixes • Great value for the price ❌ Cons • Will rip paint off walls if not careful • Stickiness can be annoying but that’s the whole point • Loses some grip if left exposed to air too long This tape is a must have for DIY quick fixes and creative projects. Whether you need reinforcement or a strong hold, this gets the job done. Would I recommend it? 100% ## Frequently Bought Together - Gorilla Tape Black 11m - Gorilla Tape Handy Roll Black 9m - Gorilla 3044611 Tape Duct Tape White 48mm x 10m --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/48003087-tape-black-11m-heavy-duty-duct-tape-hand-tearable-extra](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/48003087-tape-black-11m-heavy-duty-duct-tape-hand-tearable-extra) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
