PORTA PUZZLE Deluxe - Portable Jigsaw Puzzle Board for 500 to 1000 Pieces

Me and wife got in to jigsaws during the pandemic, as a thing for us and the kids to do. We’ve carried on with this as we’ve had more kids, but leaving jigsaws on the kitchen table isn’t viable anymore. My wife mentioned these wallets, and I got her one. It fits 1000 piece jigsaws, the jigsaw doesn’t move when closed, even when picked up no matter how incomplete it is. The two pads have to be fitted for this, and these pads also help when one of our kids go on a tangent and puts together a certain section, that isn’t ready to be fitted yet. Great quality zip, nothing flimsy or cheap about it, the whole case is a good quality item and I and my family are happy we have it now. If you like a jigsaw, and can’t store it in the open, I’d highly recommend this case.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I was given a 1000 piece puzzle as a gift and it was dominating my dining room table. This allows me to store it away when I need to. It is well made and good quality. The two sections for storing pieces are very useful. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase!

This is a sturdy puzzle board and a good quality product . Amazon packaging was terrible but board was undamaged

Great for storing puzzle and moving although I wouldn't suggest actually carrying by the handle. Does not quite fit 1000 pieces of a normal jigsaw. Good quality, sturdy and especially like the 2 pads inside that are used for pieces.

Great for doing jigsaws in bed, which is where I have the most space. Before, I had a whiteboard I was doing jigsaws on, but it usually got covered in dust and gunk quite easily, so I was looking for something else. I have a jigroll, but I hate sitting on the floor (too many damn spiders about) so I bought the Portapuzzle Deluxe. Easily the best jigsaw buy I ever made. I have a couple of 1000 piece puzzles that don't fit, but I can easily do those on the jigroll, and the Portapuzzle is great for doing smaller jigsaws too (i usually do 500 piece ones). I usually fold it back on itself, and if there's a jigsaw in it, I usually leave it folded like that on top of my guinea pigs cage, or on top of the chest of drawers, with the loose boards placed on top of the pieces to keep them together and prevent me losing any. Haven't lost a piece yet! Mine appears to be well made, and I can make up bits of the jigsaw and move them around as needed, no problems there. I've read a few reviews that said it was too big...what size did you expect it to be? And as for saying it's not like the description...they tell you exactly, you have the two main bits that zip together, and two loose boards. The only downside to the Portapuzzle is, unlike the Jigsort, you can't remove the tray you do the jigsaw on, but then, the Jigsort is far more expensive and to be honest, I think it's great for the price. The whiteboard has gone to my mother! Far better than the Portapuzzle standard, and far cheaper than the Jigsort. I'm glad I bought it.

I've had my portapuzzle for over a year now and I can say I am pleased with it. I have done many puzzles from 500 to 1000 pieces with no problems. It has really proved it's worth recently as I have been living between 3 homes and moving my jigsaws to and fro accordingly. As long as you don't move the pieces too near to the edges and make sure you put the 2 boards on top before zipping it up there really shouldn't be a problem with the pieces dislodging unless you're harshly knocking the case about. I am pleased that I can start a puzzle and no matter what stage I am at with the puzzle, I can just zip it up and keep it out of danger of being messed up by my kids accidentally knocking it about. I can also move it about from home to home and have not had any problems as other reviewers claim with the pieces dislodging. The only downside I have had with it (most likely my own fault) is that it doesn't seem very easy to clean. As I often glue my jigsaws onto a board when complete, I accidentally got some PVA onto it and when I tried washing it off it took the fluffy coating off the board so that it looks a bit threadbare in places now. I would definitely recommend this to anybody who enjoys doing jigsaws and has young kids or has to move about a lot but I would warn anybody not to get it dirty as it is not easy to clean without ruining the fluffy fabric coating.

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. Her puzzles-in-process are now safe from cats and children and it makes it easy to get the puzzle out when it is stored away. It is very sturdy with no assembly required and the board fits nicely underneath our sofa. She has been using this for 1000 piece puzzles and there is ample space.

Ich habe mir die Mappe zu Weihnachten gewünscht, da ich als Mutter und Vollzeitarbeiterin nur selten zum Puzzeln komme und mit Kleinkind und Katze im Haus, auch nicht wusste, wohin mit den angefangenen Puzzeln. Also habe ich jahrelang, bis auf 12- und 24- teilige Puzzle meines kleinen Sohnes, nicht mehr gepuzzelt. Und dann bekam ich diese Mappe. Jetzt kann ich lospuzzlen, wann ich Lust habe, und wenn es nur 30 Minuten sind und dann *schwuppdiwupp* verschwindet alles wieder unsichtbar unter der Couch. Auch mitgenommen habe ich die Mappe (im Auto, hochkant gestellt) schon mehrmals und ich muss sagen, dass die Teile zwar ein kleines bisschen verrutscht sind, aber im großen und ganzen alles noch erkennbar an seinem Platz lag. Ich konnte, am Zielort angekommen, sofort weiterpuzzlen. Verschlossen wird die Mappe mit einem Reißverschluss, sodass man sie aufklappen oder umklappen kann. Deckel und Boden sind untrennbar miteinander verbunden, stört jedoch nicht. Die Unterlagen sind aus Filz und entgegen vieler Meinungen in Foren, kann man die Puzzleteile schon noch auf dem Filz bewegen, allerdings geht es nicht so leicht, wie auf glattem Holz. Das ist aber auch logisch, denn beim Aufstellen der Mappe hält ja vor allem auch der Untergrund die Teile an ihrem Platz. Der Filz ist mir persönlich etwas zu weich. Die Puzzleteile lassen sich nicht so gut andrücken, wie auf hartem Untergrund (z.B. einer Puzzleplatte). 1000er Puzzle von Ravensburger (70 x 50 cm) passen sehr gut rein, die beiden Sortierplatten kann man rausnehmen und zur Seite legen. Sie lassen sich ebenfalls gut benutzen. Ich finde diese Tasche großartig und würde sie allen Puzzlefreunden, die ihre Puzzle immer wieder verstauen müssen, sehr empfehlen.
