Big Fat Snare Drum Abfsd14-Gm 14-Inch "Green Monster" Drum Head - Black

I prefer this version to the original one. It has a more defined fat sound over the original which is what I wanted on an andilliary 14x8 wood shell snare that I use in my set up.

Love it , would recommend for that big deep snare sound.

Was after a proper fat tone, used a couple of Big Fat Snare products in the past. Bought this for optimal fatness and put it on my beaded steel 14x6.5 snare and it sounded dreadful. I tried different head tunings etc, loosened/tightened the snare wires and nothing worked. I could only describe the sound as putting some snare wires on the bottom of a cushion.

Effectively lowers the pitch and slightly muffles a snare drum with a high tuning. Has a coating that allows the use of brushes, easy on, easy off. Good product.

I really like this big fat. Besides having a extra sound for when I need change the sound of my drums I still get to use the Big Fat with my brushes with my silent drum head. I like it a lot!
