As stated by some reviewers I read AFTER I opened my bottle, I was at first disconcerted to see a very clear solution after opening. I checked to see if there was supplemental product info, but saw the reviews discussing this phenomenon of oxidation, because my previous bottle from this supplier and another supplier had been deep, brilliant blue. I'm satisfied now so resumed taking it. I'm not 100% sure of its beneficial effects yet, after 3 months, but if I can isolate this as a factor I'll followup. Supplier...please consider a note for consumers online or as an insert. I know this means many will think their previous oxidized supply was deficient, but it may be more helpful overall.

You Guys vitamin C causes the methylene blue to turn light in color. The bottles that you were getting that are dark blue have oxidized the vitamin C. Keep it in a dark area. If anything, the dark blue ones that you want are old or have been exposed to sunlight. It’s supposed to come light and color because it has the vitamin C in it. You are getting methylene blue still I promise. I love this company!!! Best methylene blue on the market. They sell to compound pharmacies because there’s is so pure.

I have purchased 4 bottles of OnGuard Methylene Blue. First bottle was sold to me by my Dr. The last 3 bottles were purchased through Amazon. First 3 bottles the product was deep blue, had a good taste and seemed to do what I was hoping it would do. I had read negative reviews however they were dated a year ago so I was believing they had cleaned up their act. Well my last bottle was just like the negative reviews. Product was no longer blue. It is a light yellow/green. I still took a dose and it severely burned my mouth and throat and tasted foul. Went on app to do a return only to learn I’m screwed! No returns allowed for this product. Very convenient for a company that will put out inferior quality products. They say third party tested! How then do I get something completely different from the other 3 bottles that is foul and burns my mouth and throat. If you can’t return then…There is no accountability! I’m at least going to show this to my Dr so he knows that it could be dangerous for other patients!
