Great for the money
I know nothing about guitars. I only bought this because a neighbour threw out an electric guitar recently and middle aged madness took over and I had to have it. And once I had it I had to have the amplifier of course. Having got the guitar for free it seemed nuts to spend big money on the accessories so I was looking for an amp for about thirty pounds. For ten watts this seems incredibly loud. I have the guitar volume on 4 and believe me this is more than you need for home use. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of amplifiers costing much more. So if you're looking for more off beat sounds I suggest you spend a little more and find something with more knobs than this. The unit is small and gives out a great sound, to me anyway, You get the feeling it is very sturdy and well made too. The manual is just one page, which was a bonus as there's nothing to really know about it. Just switch on and go. Well worth the money.

Great stuff, portable
Wanted a cheap upgrade from my tiny portable amps and iRig to get used to the amp feel and I wasn't disappointed. The overdrive can be made to sound like distortion though/ keep fiddling with the settings I'm sure you can get the sound you want.If your main concern is a jazzy deep blues sound this isn't the best amp to go for but for the price it is great and will sound OK (my opinion)pros;-Portable for carrying it to jamming sessions.-Overdrive is great.-Loud enough to jam with a band.cons;-not the best for jazzy tone but good enough I'd say.-I want to make the list longer. :)-Just one more to balance out the 3 pros.

Good to use for its original purpose, but nothing more.
This is a great little amp - as it says, only for use as a "practice amp". I actually use this to practice on my bass guitar, and I got a fairly decent sound from it. However I have used it to play music from my iPod and laptop, and didn't get a great sound from it, there was a lot of feedback.I also really like the over drive button on this, I got a great 'distorted' sound from my bass when I used it! Very good value too, and fairly light to carry around.

Superb little amp
Got this as a practice amp because my other amp is just too big to move around easily. This amp is great - fantastic price, sound is fine for practice use and it’s delightfully small in size and extremely light without feeling cheap and fragile. Would recommend to anyone looking for a guitar or microphone amp!

Very inexpensive little amp
Great little amp if you are starting out. Plenty of volume. lacks tone quality but what do you want for the price?

Small but powerful
Excellent little amp, ideal if you don't want anything too big.I ordered this with some other items on Amazon and when it all arrived, I thought they had forgotten the amp as it was so small lolIts about 30cm x 30xm and its great for me, as I didn't want anything too bulky so this can sit hidden away easily when not using it.Despite the size, the sound is pretty good. I usually use headphones with it so I don't upset the neighbours especially as I'm learning so its not the best tunes lolWould definitely recommend if your looking for something small but with enough kick. Ideal for beginners.

An ideal home use amplifier
When I first bought an electric guitar in 2013, I bought a Marshall MS2 micro-amp, and the parts have come loose around the input socket so it no longer works. So, I thought I would go for a slightly bigger amp to use in the house. Since I am strictly an in-house player I don't need anything big, so this amplifier seemed ideal. It's perfectly loud enough with the controls set at 1.5 and importantly there is no buzz when it is switched on. I noticed there was if it is turned up to a much higher level, but at those settings it would be much to loud for the home anyway. It seems much more solid than the MS2 so I would recommend this option for anyone starting out or who is strictly a home player.

Good value
Surprisingly powerful amp for it's size. There is a slight buzz but you can reduce it by using a good quality guitar lead. Overdrive feature works well and the controls all do their job. Works well with headphones too. Overall good value.
