Blinded by the light!
I've used plenty of head torches and hand held from the mini mags, good old million candle power (yeah right) including the copied ones produced by our good friends in Asia right up to a SAR lights sitting high up in the sky. The Lenser H7R.2 is up there with the best of them in the head light/torch field, the build quality is pretty darn good rugged yet light enough to wear on your head comfortably for hours at a time. Whether you use this for cycling, running or working on your car don't have any doubt that this Lenser will do the job just right. The brightness is extremely good in fact it's so bright the user manual makes it very clear that you should not shine it directly into the eyes (unless you spot a burglar and want to dazzle him!). The features on the lenser are very useful, from flood to spot with a 90 degree tilt and from low light to full on arc welding brightness with the turn of a dial or a press of a button. It can be reconfigured to strobe and bright or dim and bright by pressing and holding the rear dial for 5 seconds, along with this the rear dial glows red with one press or strobes with a second press. Charge time is 4-5 hours going by the book but top up charges are quicker, you also have the option of using AAA batteries in the event of losing power from the battery pack. All in all this Lenser is a great all rounder. A must have for people who either live in caves or cycle, run work with tools etc etc Oh yes I've seen a few comments about the head band not being big enough! Just how big are people's heads getting these days I wonder?

Fantastic powerful lamp with staying power
This is the second unit I have bought in the last couple of years, it is well made and the battery power is very good and lasts for ages. It's not the cheapest head torch but it delivers exactly what you want, great bright beam which can be adjusted to give a very large area coverage or refined to a smaller beam, the lamp can be tilted down via secure variable position hinge. The beam has two power settings which are set by pressing the on /off switch a couple of times and offer a half power and full power setting which are then further adjustable from the battery pack via a rotatable switch. The battery pack is mounted on the rear of the headband, it also incorporates a red light which is not really suitable as a rear lamp for Cyclist use as it's not bright enough, but it is fine for following eg. walking in a group. As far as head torches are concerned it does exactly what I need it to do which allows me to work with my hands and have a directional light pointing where I need it and all at a price that's fair.

Great all purpose Head torch.
I bought this to replace the same model which I purchased in 2020. I use this everyday on my early morning dog walk. It gives a bright clean light which is controllable, along with a strobe function and red rear light. It is fully rechargeable and has lasted well over 5 years.

A very good head torch
Pros. The adjustable lens allows for a good floodlight or spot depending on what you require at the time. A variety of light output settings is very useful and the ability to lock the switches to prevent accidental use make it great for toolbags etc; although a built in clip on the adjustment buckle allow it to be clipped to bags or belt loops easily. The torch is relatively lightweight and quite comfortable, and as well as being supplied with a li-ion rechargeable battery, the battery pack is able to take standard AA batteries; although the li-ion battery life is good even on full power. Cons. I have a big head, which means the cable from battery to light is under tension (even with the coiled section of cable) and either pulls the light or the battery around to the side which is rather annoying. The li-ion battery takes several hours to recharge even with the supplied wall charger, which means I usually leave it overnight.

Close to magic, until 16 months on!
Brilliant! Living off-grid in a little caravan, I have used it every day for months now. It is ultra-reliable, charges so easily and gives a fantastic light, which is consistent for hours. I'm getting a little bit worried about the elastic, that's all. But I can't imagine finding a better item for the price. I still haven't figured out all the various settings, which seem to be spoiling one for choice, and which I seem to accidentally alter sometimes, but it still doesn't matter. UPDATE It's been brilliant, since 2016, until now. The surround of the micro-USB charging socket has now spilt and battery no longer charges. And there is no option to contact the seller.

Fantastic head torch, would buy again.
Love this head torch, has great battery life, very bright and is rechargeable. Very versatile, I use it for everything from working in fields at night where you can focus the beam to see far away to working on my car in the dark where you can adjust it to have a soft light you can use at close range. You can use it as a rechargeable torch for take the battery out and use AAA batteries which, although I havent had to do this, could come in handy if you either need to use it for a very long time or are going tk be somewhere where charging isnt an option. I have had this for over a year now, I left it over summer unused and the battery doesnt seam to have suffered at all. I charged it up a week ago and still havent had to recharge it yet.

Best head torch I have ever owned.
Best head torch I have ever owned. I've used it running several nights a week for the past month or so. The battery pack is lightweight and fits nicely around the back of my head. I was originally worried that it doesn't have a a third strap over the top, but I needn't have worried as it's very secure. The battery took a few hours to charge first time, but now I just top it up and takes an hour or so. I use it on 3/4 or full beam most of the time for at least an hour and everyone comments on how bright it is. The brightness is adjusted by turning a small knob on the battery pack, which also illuminates red, which is a nice touch. I can certainly illuminate everything in front of me, even when pitch black. The torch can be angled nicely. Only slight and I mean slight negative for me is the beam can't be focussed like the hand held torches. However, the beam is wide and gives a good spread ahead of the area I am running.

Battery pack always sits skewed to one side of head and light intensity fades after short period.
Usually buy Petzl but opted for a change and unfortunately regret buying this product (particularly given the not insignificant outlay). I'm renovating my house and so find a head torch invaluable for illuminating nooks and crannies, or even the wide open plains of ceilings and walls if I'm plastering or fixing cladding etc, where I can be working for several hours at a time. Problems are two-fold: 1) Comfort - the battery pack never (ever) sits properly at the back of my head (despite many strap adjustments and stretchings of the curly cable) - and I have a standard-issue head. So if looking down from above with my nose at 12 o'clock, the battery always sits at 7 o'clock, where I want it sit at 6. It's a small thing perhaps, but it really grates as a feature of poor design - I want stuff to work, and expect products to, a reasonable degree, be adjustable/customisable to accommodate the user... so in this regard - epic fail. 2. Inconsistent light intensity - there are two light modes: bright and dim or not-so-bright). Bright is satisfyingly very bright, and I use this mode almost exclusively, however, the light seems to fade by a notch or two after say 10-15 minutes and remain at this reduced level (even if fully-charged). This is really annoying and I never experienced this reduction with my Petzl Myo (which elegantly expired of years of solid service). I bought this product well over a year ago so know it's qualities/shortcomings well, I do continue to use it (as I want my money's worth etc), but without hesitation I would not recommend this product.

Da macht das Laufen gleich doppelt Spaß!
Moin!

Really happy with this headlamp
Really happy with this headlamp. I use it mainly for walking my dogs at night (light my way in dark sections of the path and reflects the eyes of cats, raccoons and skunks ahead in my path). It has a bright focus-able beam that can be turned up or down to any strength between low and high with the dial on the back. The option of turning on the flashing red light on the back is nice since there can be bicycle traffic where I walk. The annoying flash mode that is on by default on any other headlamp I have used is off by default on this lamp (option to make it part of the cycle is there if you want it). You can use the included battery pack (charges in the device via micro usb - cable and .2 Amp (standard 5v) charger included) or 4 AAA batteries. Has a nice rough battery strength indicator on startup (back light goes green for 5 seconds if greater than 50%, yellow between 20 and 49% and red when below 20%). Will also flash light 3 times every 15 seconds when battery is low to let you know you are running out of power. So far I have only used the battery pack but I have eneloops for swapping out.

Excellent and bright as hell. I cycle two of these at work and use them almost every day all day and they keep ticking. One charger connector started giving grief after about 3 years of daily use. The average person could probably get a lifetime out of one of these.

LED SENSER H7R.2
LED SENSER H7R.2 Comprat a Amazon Alemanya. Com sempre Amazon rapidíssim i sense queixes. Frontal excel·lent.
