I bought this thinking that it would be much brighter (2000 Lumens) than the Lenser T7 I already had (200 Lumens), and to be honest, I find it hard to tell the difference in beam strengths on full beam - it possibly has the edge, but only just - and the lifetime at anything like full beam is only around 1 1/2 hours (the beam gradually fades over around 24 hours so you don't have to worry about a sudden cut out). Beam is square rather than round, which is better for cycling, but rather too much on the blue side.The extras which come with it are good, and the cycle mount, excellent - gripping the torch very securely and giving full 360° panning without any tendency to slip.

The torch is solidly made using thick aluminium?, the light is bright and at about 150mm long it is a very useful size as a hand torch. Comes with a mode which flashes SOS and also rapid strobe effect presumably for personal protection. The lens hood slides in and out and allows the beam to be focussed from a more diffuse round beam to a smaller brighter square beam.At variance with the build quality of the torch, it is supplied with a cheap plastic case to hold the equally cheap charger and bike attachment parts and a slightly more useful nylon “canvas” type pouch. The battery has to be removed for charging but lasts for several months with just occasional use. The light on the charger doesn’t tell you when charging is complete.If you want a torch for personal protection at night, the light is probably not bright enough and the switch to strobe effect (by gently depressing the on/off switch) is a bit of a lottery and in a panic you are as likely to turn the torch off as "disorient" any attacker.

It "does what it says on the tin" and has an amazingly bright and penetrating beam. It is smallish and fits in a pocket but heavier than a similar sized ordinary torch but then in spite of its size it is a grown up!

An excellent torch, a good size being a decent handful, for big hands, not too fiddly, and easy to operate.Lots of useful parts included saucy as the bicycle mount, belt case and battery options.Only improvement I would like is to be able to change the battery n the torch rather than having to take the battery out and putting it in a separate charger.

I would give this 5 stars but for a couple of issues,When using at distance and full beam you get the outline of the ledBulb, instead of it being clear. Small issue once you get use to it.Batteries don't seem to last that long, I was using two a day.Overall two little issue's but still worth its money due to its small with alot of power, great pouch for fastening to your belt, good construction.
