I've tried a good few beard balms and oils over the years, and this definitely ranks up among the best in my experience. I prefer balms as they don't have the greasiness of oils, and they have more shaping potential.Application is quick and easy. Scrape off a little bit with the back of your thumb nail, rub it a little between your thumb and fingers to warm it up and liquidise it, then work it into your beard.Of course how it works will depend on your beard length, but for me with a mid-length beard that's prone to a good few straggly hairs in the sideburn area it does an amazing job. The beeswax content helps to smooth everything down and keep it in place, while the rest of it adds a decent sheen.It's lightly scented, mainly lemon with a very slight floral hint - I know that doesn't sound like the most masculine thing in the world but it works well. It smells fresh and clean. It's a great scent, and a welcome change from the overwhelmingly woody and musky odours that many beard products have in a bid to be more 'manly' *rolls eyes*. News flash - if you've got a beard you're a man, you don't need to smell like a pine forest to prove it.The tin is actually deeper than I was expecting, and since you only need a small amount for each application it will last a good while and making it decent value for money.If you're looking for a quality beard balm then I wholeheartedly recommend this one.

I bought this as my beard is growing out and it's thick but very wiry. Waking up in the morning with that 'hobo' look isn't great and although a little expensive I thought I'd try this. First off it doesn't smell overly strong, which is a good thing. Although when my partner walked in she asked if I had been doing the dusting because she smelled furniture polish. One thing to note, a little goes a long way. I have a tendency to plaster things on and with this there's no need, a pea size amount is fine. Just rub it in your fingers until it warms up and loses the grittiness and then apply. Afterwards I brush with a wire beard brush which makes a huge difference in distributing it evenly and after a few seconds we go from crazy person unruliness to King George style tidyness.Also, and I don't know why I didn't think of it before using, but beard balm is obviously a wax so after using it there's a certain amount of a 'shiny' look involved. I don't know if that's a good thing or not but it was enough to garner comments from co-workers. So like I said, a little goes a long way.

Scent is to strong for me and unpleasant, not as good as advertised. For beard way to "melted and to soft" in the tin "can" before use. For me it did not work as other beard balms did.

I bought this for my husband (I don't have a beard myself) as he finds his beard itchy. The balm certainly does the trick and he has finally stopped picking at his facial fungus! It also smells wonderful and is very easy to use (so he tells me...)

Excellent product-melts into the beard well and has an excellent aroma. The wax does tame stray hairs well. The tubs are quite small but you don't need that much to add texture to your beard.

Great balm. Smells great and feels really soothing. Really does help shape my beard and make it look tidy. Only complaint is the lid of the tin doesn't seem to fit properly and just slides off - have to be careful if you travel and plan to take it with you!

Arrived much quicker than expected, cheers. Smell is very nice not over powering. Melts very quickly in the hand leaving a smooth balm to massage into the beard. It has enough hold but also looks like nothing is there. Great product. Would recommend.

Easy to use. Goes into my beard nicely with my boar bristle brush. Enough hold to keep my beard looking great all day but still really soft. Really nice scent too. Only had it 1 day but so far so good. Very fast delivery.
