Soil Association Certified Organic Reetha (Soap Nut) Powder 100g

I really like this powder. I used it by mixing it with Amla and Shikakai from the same brand.I have thin and weak hair and I feel that traditional shampoos make my hair even worse.With these powders I feel like I can significantly improve the quality of my hair.It's more time consuming though to clean hair with these powders, but the effect is worth it. So do recommend it for those who want to solve the problem of dull and thin hair.

Finely ground, good product but you can still feel smooth grittiness. This is not a bad thing, as it gives a fine exfoliation.I have given 3stars because it easily gets in the eyes even when you try and avoid and have your eyes tightly shut. Can occur just by rinsing your face and the rinse water passes your eyes. Very irritating and feels like sand in the eyes, even when you try to rinse out . Could cause conjunctivitis and would not recommend if wearing contact lenses or have an eye condition.Tried to use as a shampoo, felt like washing hair with fine sand, I did not rub as it felt it might strip the hair.And it still got in my eyes.I will try a different brand next time to see if any different, or maybe a liquid soap nut.Need to buy a jar and keep it dry otherwise will get mouldy as I found when I mixed a small amount of soapnut with water and left it for several days (with intention to have a liquid soap). It was soon overan with mould.

We are an ayurvedic family. We create herbal shampoo using Organic Reetha, Shikakai and Amla. We are glad to use this Reetha powder as it has a great quality. Thanks for that!

I bought this to combine with Amla and Shikakai powders to make a natural shampoo. I mixed the three in equal parts and added water to form a paste and then applied to wet hair as a mask before rinsing.I found the whole process very messy and tedious. Plus the benefits didn't outweigh the trouble. I guess you'd see improvement in hair quality long term as you stop using commercial shampoos and take an all natural approach, but I don't have the patience or money for this. This packet mixed with the same amounts of the other 2 powders lasted me about 2.5 washes for hair that is just below shoulder length. I haven't bought more and have since started using an ready made shampoo version of the combo.

I attribute the change in my texture of my hair to this wonderful product. Noticeable Change Indeed..........Thank You ! Danny Mebane
