Great product and saved a small fortune.
My mum had told me her TV picture was coming and going (due to clumsy workman in flat above throwing a cabinet out of the window 10 years ago - he had taped the LNB back on and got lucky by getting a picture - mum thought he'd fixed it properly. This was his handy tape job finally falling apart). The LNB was cracked and the holding bracket missing but the dish and arm survived the impact. Ordered this LNB to see if I could repair it before calling out a satellite engineer - best £15 ever spent. Unscrewed the 2 connectors, prised off the damaged LNB, clipped the new (Sky branded) LNB in place, used a cheap £10 signal receiver (also from Amazon) to fine tune, screwed back on the 2 connectors then finally tightened the supporting bracket. Signal strength now roughly 90% and quality between 90-100%. If your dish is damaged but accessible then I would recommend trying this first as it's pretty simple and will save you money.

Brilliant. And worth fitting yourself if you can!
I nearly spent £90 on a professional coming over to fit one of these to my Sky Q dish. Plus £25 for the LNB itself.I'm so glad I read the other reviews. It really is worth saving the money if your dish is in a safe and accessible place.1. Unscrew your existing cables going into LNB. (Remove weather guard by sliding up away from the cables).2. Pop off old LNB with pliers on the plastic screw.3. Screw in your existing cables into 2 ports on the new lnb.4. Pop new LNB into same position as old one and pop in the supplied new plastic pin to secure.5. Remember to slide down weather guard to protect the cables in bad weather.6. Come back down to earth with extra money in your pocket. Both from installation and giving Sky your hard earned money!!

Visible Wave Sky Quad LNB
I selected this product based on other persons reviews and was certainly pleased that I took their advise. The LNB arrived ahead of the expected time, was well packaged and was exactly as described. The fitting of the LNB to the sky dish was simple and easy, (the hardest part was getting onto the roof to get access to the sky dish and making sure I didn't slide off as I had picked the windiest day of the month, possibly even the year, to tackle the job), removed the original single LNB and installed the newly purchased LNB all as per the istructions.Once fitted and set up with the television, turned it on and the results were perfect.Would definitely reccomend this product to anyone with a similar problem and wishing to have the extra capacity.A little tip is to fill the exposed parts/connections not required for that project with some "bluetack" or a similar product as an additional means of weatherproofing prior to completing the installation.

Good cheap replacement quad LNB
Bought this to replace a suspect LNB on a very old sky dish (failing to receive V channels, ones that are vertically polarised from the transmitter), works a treat and the unit seems pretty good quality, looks identical to my neighbours new SKY dish one.Only problem was fitting to the dish arm, the mount supplied connected to the LNB in the box wasn't right and the alternative mounting doesn't have the LNB 'skew' markings and didn't seem to grip the sensor body, the alternative bracket also slid too far into the old arm to get correct focus from the dish, but with a bit of thought and a few wraps of insulation tape it fits well enough now.Nice to have a full complement of Freesat channels back, especially BBC HD :)As I didn't replace the whole dish there was no need to worry about angle, azimuth etc in aligning the dish, just fitted the cables, adjusted the skew of the LNB to roughly where the old one was and away. Was a very cheap repair to a perfectly serviceable dish otherwise really, for less than a tenner delivered (Maplins wanted £40 for the equivalent!)

Easy D.I.Y upgrade to Sky dish
I ordered the Zinwell Quad LNB to upgrade my old single LNB so I could have Satellite T.V in more than 1 room. I had already purchased a Bush Freesat (SD) box, but could only use it when the Sky box was turned off.( via signal splitter) After much deliberation I decided to have a go & install it myself as I was quoted over £100 to do the job. Thanks to all the positive reviews & tips, it was a piece of cake. The hardest part was getting up the ladder & removing the old LNB ( about 9 years old )out of the support tube, but a spray of WD40 soon sorted that out. Then after cleaning the over-spray off, a couple of turns of Duck Tape was enought to fit the support bracket tightly to the support tube. I replaced the too-short plastic rivet with a nut & bolt, connected the 2 coax cables & Bob was my Dad's brother. Signal strength & quality to the Sky box had dropped slightly from 85 to 80%, but both were 100% on Freesat. The Quad LNB appeared to sit about 1/4 inch further away from the dish, but the mounting hole matched up with that in the support tube. I did not have any test equipment, but put my portable T.V & Freesat box on the inside window sill & checked the signal strength that way. I didn't bother using the spirit level fitted to the new one, as the old LNB was set at an angle from day 1. Just checked that all the fixing bolts were still tight. One thing that has been cured was the tendancy to lose the satellite signal during bad weather. After todays ( 7th Aug ) thunderstorms in the Midlands we never lost signal to either box. If we had I would have been a bit peeved as I would have missed the 3rd BTCC race from Snetterton on ITV 4, which is not available on Freeview locally - yet! Now my daughter wants me to do the same for her!!

Works like a dream
Worked like a dream. I wanted to make use of the Sky dish that came with my new house but it was only compatible with Sky Q. I resent paying their prices and had no aerial fitted so googled to see if there were any other options. That’s when this option came up. The reviews were excellent and it was going to save me approx £150 that I was being quoted to get an aerial fitted so I thought I’d give it a go. It was a little fiddly to fit but totally worth it. I was given an old Sky box by my sister, bought a Sky cable that cost about £4 and that was it. I was up and running within minutes. The picture is crystal clear and I’m a very happy bunny.

Works well great signal recption
Replacement for old Sky LNB dish is a circular section support arm, bracket supplied with LNB for a rectangular section. So used old bracket after wrapping a couple of turns gaff tape around neck of LNB. Provide and excellent signal and great picture from ASTRA Sat
