Question 1

How do I order them in green? There doesn't seem to be any way of specifying colour

Accepted Answer

Hi Catherine,There are 2 models of this headset you can buy. As you are aware, they are sold with interchangeable shells, a camouflaged shell and a brightly coloured shell, so you can use the same headset in any environment safely. One model comes with Black and Red shells, while the other comes with Green And Orange shells. So the product you are looking at is not the one you want because it has Black (and therefore also red) shells. Please enter the following Amazon reference ( B001TPR6ZM ) into the amazon search bar and you will find the Green model with orange shells.Hope this helps.Regards,Best4Systems

Hi, exactly how quickly does the sound protection cut in?

As near as dammit instantaneous, I've never noticed any delay at all. I use mine when clay pigeon shooting and they seamlessly block the loud sounds but allow you to hold a conversation with others.
