Focal Car Audio Auditor ASE 165-6.5″ 165mm 2-Way Car Door Component Speakers 220W

Haven’t had these that long so cant yet say for longevity. I fitted them into my e46 rear shelf for now waiting on adapters for the fronts. Ive got a Kenwood single din bluetooth head unit & at first i thought they were damaged as on punchy beats they were making a distortion noise. After a proper inspection it turns out they were vibrating a loose bit of trim. Once tightened i went out in the car with some tunes on & as they started to bead in they have continued to get better & better & sound crisp & clear. About as bassy as a speaker gets in a car without a sub. Punchy, clear. Very happy with them & can’t wait to fit the fronts as well gonna be rocking in that e46. 👍🏻

Fitted these in a 2013 Caddy van. They fit fine with the adapters (Not supplied) and the tweeters fit in the dash. There were no mounts in the dash so they're in with tape for now! They sound good. A big improvement over stock. The original door speakers are rivetted in and took a while to drill out! The second door was a lot quicker. Not exactly OEM replacement. Just to add to the confusion, the speaker wire colours out the back of the head unit are not the same when they get to the door! (No factory amp or crossovers fitted) Overall a good upgrade for the Caddy.

I have done my research, and trust me when I say it took me many research hours as I wanted to pay once and be happy and oh boy, these are really nice. They completely changed my van (8 seater Viano) however some things to keep in mind. I used sound deadening on all my doors, floor and some on the roof. I did extra around the speakers. I did custom speaker mounts and custom tweeter enclosures. And it’s connected to a good ish (cheap 2nd beans Kenwood stereo and an old amplifier). The sound is absolutely amazing for the price. Build quality is top and I guess it fits well but of course in my situation it does as I build custom mounts. I honestly don’t know if going more expensive actually improves sound by much but maybe in the future il upgrade, and if I do I’ll still use Focal.

In my car, on their own, they sound a bit bright and also a definite bass peak resonance which is probably influenced by the enclosure (doors in my case).- So might sound better in different install. I run these with a full range JBL 310 in the rear of the car and for that combo they are perfect complement.

I bought these for the front door speakers in my car. The tweeters fit into the original place and the main speakers needed adapters. They sound great, I have auditor rear shelf speakers and all together they produce a really good full sound.

These are great sounding speakers ,I would highly recommend,I just replaced my existing broken van speakers with these ,the tweeters are clear and confident at doing the job ,great value for money as they were on offer at the time I bought these

These speakers make a difference even with a small amp,would recommend,the only down side is limited to tweeter mounting, compared to other components Apart from that all good

Le son est très clair. Ces enceintes font honneur à la marque. Le réglage de la radio suffit.

Tanta roba ! Qualità di medi e alti il top !!! Ottimo qualità prezzo e kit insieme che ti danno ! Non sono per gare SPL ma, per qualità sonora sono molto ma molto superiori a diverse Marche! Il mio impianto in macchina e migliorato tantissimo !

Einfach fantastisch!!! Hatte sie in meinem Peugeot 3008 BJ 2018 eingebaut. Erst ohne Türenverkleidung angeschlossen, angemacht, dachte: mein lieber Gott, was für ein Schrott habe ich gekauft - null Bass, leise. War unendlich enttäuscht und glaubte nicht an die alle positive Rezensionen. Aber am nächsten Tag dachte ich "neee, kein Schritt Zurück mehr". Habe alles vorbereitet: Zellkautschuk Dichtung an die Türen Verkleidung Kanten, Schaumstoff Ringe an die Lautsprecher und natürlich ne Menge Alubutyl innen in die Türen und plus noch 1,5 cm. Akustik Schaumstoff direkt auf Alubutyl. Und dann kamm zum Test!!! Mamma Mia, ich könnte nicht glauben: Trabant und Mercedes - so ist die Unterschied zwischen meinen alten Lautsprechern und Focal Auditor. Habe Pioneer gm-d1004 Verstärker mit 4x45 RMS bis auf volle Lautstärke gedreht - mega klangqualität, unglaublich schöner und tiefer Bass, Höhen - kristallklar. Einzigster Punk den ich noch nacharbeiten muss, das ist Verstärker, ich glaube er ist zu schwach für die schöne Focal Auditor....
