Great high quality paste that has sorted my thermal issue for years
This has worked fine for me, my CPU was beginning to have thermal problems, this thermal paste completely fixed the issue, Its lasted a few years now and havent noticed any thermal issues since. It was very easy to apply, the tube didnt feel flimsy and the quality of the paste was great, it spread easily but didnt make a mess at all. This is great value for money, ive still got loads left in the tube even.

Trusted thermal paste that’s easy to apply and delivers consistently solid temps
I’ve used the Noctua NT-H1 thermal paste on a couple of CPU installations now, and it’s been consistently excellent. Application is very straightforward — the paste has a good consistency, neither too runny nor too thick, which makes spreading or using the pea method easy and predictable. It doesn’t dry out quickly during application, so you’ve got a bit of working time to seat the cooler properly. In terms of performance, it does exactly what you’d expect from a quality thermal compound. Temperatures remain stable under load, and I’ve seen solid results both at idle and during more demanding tasks like gaming and rendering. It’s not flashy, but it’s dependable — which is exactly what you want from thermal paste. Long-term stability is another strong point. Once applied, it doesn’t require frequent reapplication and maintains performance over time, which is ideal for builds you don’t want to keep reopening. The only minor drawback is that the tube is quite small at 3.5g, so if you’re doing multiple builds or frequent repasting, you may run out sooner than expected. That said, for a typical single PC build, it’s more than enough. Overall, this is a high-quality, no-nonsense thermal compound that delivers consistent cooling performance with minimal hassle. A very safe choice for both beginners and experienced builders.

For sheer performance
Noctua need no introduction ... They are very well known for their superb quality, low noise cooling fans. Having said that I "discovered" the NT-H1 thermal compound barely a year ago ! This thermal compound offers the best cooling for CPUs (& GPUs) when compared to the other brands. It might only translate to a couple of degrees, however every degree counts, especially when overclocking. I still use Arctic's MX-4 and 2 on most builds thanks to the price to performance ratio. The MX-4 (4g) tube costs quite less than the NT-H1. Noctua opt to write specific gravity and ml instead of weight. Now this works out (correct me if I'm wrong) to be just under 3.5g. They also claim that it will suffice for at least 15 applications, however I doubt that this will be the case on the larger Haswell E CPUs. Now to the testing of the NT-H1 compared to the MX-4 (which claims to be better) - see picture In my case the NT-H1 is the winner. The maximum difference I saw when testing on laptop and desktop computers was 10-13°C and minimum was 2°C. The more demanding CPUs benefited most and are the ones that fell into the 10-13°C category. Another thing I like about this paste is the hassle free removal. No mess at all. Bottom line: If you want the best thermal compound, than the NT-H1 should be on your shortlist.

Does what it says on the tube.
I have used this product before and would highly recommend. All Noctua products have been exemplary and would easily recommend.

Top Quality Thermal Paste.
Noctua NT-H1 is excellent thermal compound. It spreads smoothly, gives great contact right away, and keeps temperatures nice and stable even under heavy load. The 3.5g syringe is enough for several applications, and the paste stays consistent over time with no drying out or pump out issues I've seen. Non conductive, easy to clean up, and performs exactly as you'd expect from Noctua. Solid choice for any CPU or GPU.

Make the difference -5C or more (Noctua>Coolermaster)
moving from the standard "Coolermaster Thermal Fusion" that came with my V8 GTS cooler this makes a great difference to noise levels by avoiding temp spikes which spin up fans and of course peace of mind for the future with lower temps so parts with degrade slower. In the 3Dmark CPU test TimeSpy Extreme I was getting up 93C spikes with the i7 8700 @ 4.35Ghz which is very worrying, now with this paste I get up short spikes to 87C @ 4.45Ghz (again they are spikes of that vary between 20C when under load) Fire Strike extreme only pushes temps to 77C, video rendering pushes to 80C. For reference my case is a Meshify C with dual 140mm front fans, 120mm back fan, MSI RTX 2080 Duke OC which is part of what gives off heat in my case, my GPU reaches a 72-73C in the most demanding instances but usually around 70C. I also use a 650w PSU up to 93% efficiency with demanding games using around 300-330w again in demanding titles. I would of liked if this came with a paste spreader, also note there is like 15 applications of this however it recommends using after 2 years however the tube reseals very nicely so I could see this paste lasting a life time. I probably hadn't replaced my paste in 2 years and even so the paste looked fresh and uncompromised as I have great dust filtering... it's very hard to say how much it degraded over time given the ways in which my setup has changed i.e replaced my case, added bigger fans and new gpu. Conclusion: it's hard to find comparisons for thermal paste think about changing your paste at least every two years Coolermaster clearly don't do their coolers justice with the standard paste they provide Noctua clearly are giving their coolers an advantage in the market with this

Brilliant paste
Worth the money, easy to spread, it's thick enough the it doesn't run but thin enough that it spreads easily. It's great at lowering temps and I use this on every build I do.

Marknadens mest prisvärda och pålitliga kylpasta!
Noctua NT-H1 sviker aldrig. Jag har använt denna till flera datorbyggen och resultatet är alltid detsamma: betydligt lägre temperaturer på processorn (CPU) jämfört med standardpastan som följer med kylare.

Reliable, Easy to Use, and Consistently Effective
I've used a variety of thermal pastes over the years, and Noctua NT-H1 continues to be one of the most dependable options for both personal builds and client repairs. The application is straightforward, no need to spread manually, and cleanup is just as simple, requiring only a dry paper towel. Performance-wise, it delivers excellent thermal conductivity. I’ve seen noticeable temperature drops compared to stock paste, especially on Ryzen and Intel CPUs paired with aftermarket air coolers. It’s also safe to use across a wide range of devices, including GPUs, consoles, and laptops, thanks to its non-conductive and non-corrosive formula. The 3.5g tube provides enough for multiple applications, roughly 15 to 20 depending on the CPU size, and the compound holds up well over time. Noctua recommends up to five years of usage on the CPU, and I’ve never had to reapply prematurely. For anyone looking for a high-quality, no-nonsense thermal paste that performs reliably and is easy to work with, NT-H1 is a solid choice. It’s not flashy, but it gets the job done right.
