I bought this moisturiser because I was looking for something simple to help with dry skin and the tired appearance that comes with long workdays and not enough sleep. The claims about 24-hour hydration, reducing signs of fatigue, and helping with dark circles sounded exactly like what I needed. Unfortunately, after using it consistently for several weeks, I honestly can’t say it lived up to any of those promises. The moisturiser feels nice enough when you first apply it, but the hydration doesn’t seem to last very long. Within a few hours my skin felt dry again, especially around my cheeks and forehead. For something marketed as providing 24-hour hydration, I expected much better. The biggest disappointment was the lack of visible results. My skin didn’t look more energised, healthier, or refreshed. The dark circles under my eyes looked exactly the same as before, and nobody was suddenly asking me if I’d had a good night’s sleep. I also found the scent much stronger than expected. It has that typical men’s grooming product smell, which might appeal to some people, but I found it a bit overpowering for something that’s sitting on your face all day. Another issue is the size of the bottle. At only 50ml, it feels quite expensive for the amount you get, especially when the product itself doesn’t seem to deliver noticeable benefits. What frustrated me most was that I genuinely gave it a fair chance. I used it every morning, followed the directions, and kept waiting for the improvements promised on the packaging. They simply never came. At the end of the day, it feels like a basic moisturiser with some ambitious marketing claims attached to it. If you’re expecting noticeable improvements in tired-looking skin or dark circles, you may end up as disappointed as I was. I would like a full refund as the product did not perform as advertised and failed to meet my expectations despite regular use.

This review is for L'oreal Hydra Energetic Mens face cream. Normally I pay 9 pound from supremarked because it's the best stuff I've used over the years! Hands down. Ok so I came on Amazon looking to see if I could get a deal and right enough 2 for 10er brilliant I ordered 2. Immediately after I opened the bottle and squired out the cream I immediately noticed the cream was BLUE and not WHITE as legitimate ones are. I decided to tell myself oh it must just be a new colour I'll give it a try and I'll know for sure the next day if it's sure till not working on my skin like the white one was ill know it's fake. Day 2. With blue. Competely faded away! This is NOT a genuine product BEWARE.

I've been using this product for 7 years. For some reason the formula has changed and has little resemblance to the original. The colour of the moisturiser has changed from blue to white and it now has precious little aroma. The original aroma is the reason I've been using it every day for so long! Unless someone can explain to me that I have brought a different product in error I shall sadly not be using this again. Very annoyed to say the least!

Do you like searing, burning eyeballs as you applying to your face? The smell is soo strong and defeats any purpose of it feeling good. Probably tested on animals, definitely tested on humans and designed for a alien race who enjoy burning eyeballs! No thanks. Avoid and look for a product that will actually help your skin... This is just a perfumed to the max, horrible, perfumed product.

I bought a 100ml pot of this expecting it to be the same as the cream I was already using. Seems they changed the formula. I looked at the 50ml pot and it was not listed as new formula, but the one with Guarana and peppermint scent, so I bought 2 x 50ml pots. This too was the new formula and was not the one listed with Guarana and peppermint scent, but the same as the 100ml pot.

I will be using this exclusively as my skin tolerates it, the scent is nice and it leaves my skin soft, which is what a moisturiser should do. It dispenses very easily, one pump is more than enough for the whole face, I do my neck too but have some left even for my hands. There is a "lift" sensation after application which is brief, I wouldn't say it'd wake me up, that's what coffee does. I also have sensitive skin and I'm surprised even with the "lift" effect it doesn't make my skin red, as a high cost brand that cost over £30 for one bottle did this for me, even though the ingredients seemed fine. EDIT: after trying Nivea Soft, this product is seriously overpriced and inferior, on Amazon you can get a tub of Nivea of 500ml for around £4, much cheaper than other shops, it leaves the skin soft for a long time and is very economical with a much better scent and doesn't leave skin feeling dry a few hours later.

Bought this to add to my skin care collection and not sure if I'd purchase again. Good value for price I'd say, smells fine, however when using I noticed a slight reaction around the edges of my face afterwards. I've since tried other brands and products and not had a reaction, so maybe there's something in this my skin doesn't quite agree on. Worth a buy and try and protecting your skin in this weather!

What I particularly like about the L'Oreal hydra moisturiser for men is the blue, gel-like consistency. It's cooling, refreshing and absorbs really quickly into the skin, drying matt and leaving no shine or greasiness. It seems to have a slight tightening effect too, adding a bit of support for tired skin. The only thing it's missing - and this seems like a given for more than super-cheap creams these days - is a decent UV filter, given that UV damage is still considered the biggest skin ager. Apart from that oversight, it's an affordable and effective men's moisturiser from L'Oreal - thumbs up.

J ai essayé toute la gamme l 'oreal, et celle-ci est la meilleure pour ma peau. J ai une peau sèche même si je vis au brésil ou elle reste plus douce due à l'eau sans calcaire. Trés légère et pourtant hydratant, sans laisser la peau grasse comme une autre crème de l'oreal plus riche (trop).
