Effective After Shave Balm With Pleasant Scent
Like the previous Apollo Secrets product I reviewed this After Shave Hydrating Balm comes in high end packaging with foil-blocked lettering on all sides. This may not be of importance to those buying it for themselves but if you are buying it as a gift and using the Amazon gift wrapping option it really conveys the impression of having purchased something special. Ticking the gift option and sending it direct to the recipient is a real lifesaver if you don't want the hassle of wrapping up and posting things to friends and family.The product itself comes in a sturdy tube of 100ml capacity which should last me 6-12 weeks. Scent wise there is a good appealing smell which should last a few hours after application and is comparable to stand alone colognes used by men. I used it after shaving and, while not having the immediate sting I usually associate with aftershave lotions, there was a reassuring tingle of antiseptic which helps prevent spots etc. There was also a nice moist texture to the skin for several hours unlike most after shaves that leave my skin dry.Overall, this is a very usefull product performing multiple functions effectively and it also makes a great gift. If I were not unemployed I would use it all the time.
