Bump To Birthday: Pregnancy & First Year Journal To Capture Memories Of the Growing Bump, the Birth & the New Baby

I cannot fault this gorgeous journal. So much so, I've bought it again because I made too many errors when I wrote in my first copy and would like a cleaner journal to reflect on with my little girl as she grows. I have also bought the "Our Story for my daughter" Journal created by the same Author.The Bump to Birthday Journal is so well laid out and has plenty of prompts that made me note down information that I'd have otherwise forgotten. It's a lovely, neutral theme that doesn't point toward either gender which I loved as I didn't find out my babies gender during my pregnancy. The book generally feels good quality, durable and is a lovely size inbetween A5 and A4. The paper is thick and handles pen well. The pages share lovely amounts of infomation about the stage of pregnancy you're at, and have cute little added note bubbles for cravings, weight etc as things progressed. After the pregnancy section, there is then a section for the birth, first month, gifts recieved, first milestones, pages to make first footprints, first birthday/Christmas and so much more.If I could improve anything, it would be the spaces left for pictures. They are landscape orientation and smaller than the average 4x6 print, so I need to get photos printed smaller to fit in those spaces. But maybe I'm just being a bit picky. I genuinely cannot fault this journal aside from that, and will happily purchase more for future pregnancies or as gifts!

This book is fantastic! There are so many things that happen during pregnancy that it can be really easy to forget things when you are re-telling your pregnancy story to your child in the precious years to come. This book lets you keep a week by week record of these events and will provide the whole family with treasured memories, photographs and stories to share with your baby when he or she is older. It begins from week 9 onwards and on each page there is a space for either a scan photograph, drawing or other memory. I am currently 27 weeks pregnant and didn't purchase this book until after my 12 week scan due to some unfortunate history. Since then I have found this book incredibly valuable and I only wish I had had the nerve to buy this book earlier on because a lot of what happened during my first trimester I had forgotten by the time I came to write it up. There is even a section for information about the baby's father at the beginning of the book and both me and my partner write in this book under the 'bit about me' section each week so he can also feel a part of the pregnancy and our little boy can read about both of us when he is older. A must buy for any pregnant woman!

I was originally going to put my own memories/keepsake book together - including a few notes and photos. When I saw this I thought it would be better because it was already laid out and just needed filling in. I wasn't able to view all the book (obviously, buying it on the web) but liked the sound of it. When I received it I was surprised at how detailed it was. I love the way it is set out, giving info on baby week by week - whilst still in the tummy, and a place to write a bit about you and what you have been up to - plus photo space. It has been a lot of work filling it in, because it's a kind of diary starting at week 9 and I didn't buy it until I was week 20! Luckily I keep a diary so was able to look up each week and fill it in. But if you buy it early and write weekly it would be not trouble at all. It is a lovely keepsake to look back on with your child in years to come and carries on until they are 1 year old.Highly recommended if you want a more detailed record book of your pregnancy, labour and 1st year with the little one.

I love the journal - it is definitely well made and beautifully designed, without being annoying. The pages are pretty thick and easy to fill. There are plenty of pre-defined spots for puctures and, as far as I can say, I won't have a problem with it.The only downside - and the reason I rated 4, not 5 stars - is that it starts at week 9. I got pregnant after an embryo transfer, so I found out I am pregnant at week 2. Not many places to write about these first weeks, which are important for me. No dedicated place to write about the waiting (which has been excruciatingly hard for me). As a suggestion, you should consider creating one for mothers who got pregnant through fertilisation procedures. I don't think it's just me, and you would have a unique competitive advantage over similar products (I am a copywriter).This being said, I'll only add that I received the journal 3 hours after I found out I was pregnant. Now I am officially a future mom!

Lovely little book as a keepsake for years to come and capture those memories

Definitely buy this.I bought this as a gift for a friend when we found out she was expecting and she loved it!So much so, that she burst into tears of joy (but that could be the pregnancy hormones!).It's beautifully set out with delicate pictures in neutral tones, so it's ideal for both baby boys and baby girls. There's plenty of room given for each part you fill in and areas for photographs too. You really can enjoy filling this in and looking back through it for years to come.It's great that it combines the pregnancy and first year of baby's life after the birth. There aren't many pregnancy journals around and it's lovely to look back on experiences and watch baby grow from Day One!This is a lovely book, to buy as a gift for someone or to buy for yourself! I wish I'd had one when I was pregnant.I'd highly recommend!

I purchased this a second time as I actually got bought this as a gift when I was pregnant with my first. I re purchased when I found out I was pregnant with my second as I absolutely love this book more than anything. It's the perfect journal to fill in through out your whole pregnancy, has lots of fun questions to answer throughout, a section to fill in about the birth and how everything went with relevant questions, as well as pages to record all your babies 'firsts' including their first Christmas and even birthday! Tons of pages to fill in to make it fun and memorable, isn't something that can be completed over night which is good as it gives you something to look forward to each week, lots of spaces for pictures to be added throughout the whole book and it starts from week 9 of pregnancy! Very fun to do! Would order again if I was to ever have a third for sure!

I reeeealllyy love this book. I'm a first time mummy so coming up with things to write about each week is very easy. There are open blocks for your tummy progress pics or anything else you would prefer to put in there, poems, letters anything! There is a space to mention what you've been up to and how mom's been feeling that week, there is also a little short paragraph on what's biologically happening with the baby so you can keep up to date with their growth and formation. A tiny box mentions cravings, weight, sickness and feelings so you can keep track of those too. It includes a Special section for each of your scans too and divides your trimesters up for you. If you're looking for a book to track EVERYTHING and give your beautiful child ALOT of amazing baby detail to read up about themselves when they're older, this is the one. My mom was given a baby journal when she announced her pregnancy as a gift, she filled in the first page and the rest of the book was empty. I cherished the small amount of info I had but WISHED she had filled in more. I swore to be as detailed with my baby journal as possible and this book has given me the means to do so without taking up too much of my time creating it. Let's face it, life gets busy and if there is too much to make yourself (scrap booking) it tends to get left behind. Having this book all ready for you to just jot down the facts every week is amazingly convenient. Couldn't recommend this more!!

Love this journal!!Beautiful design and very cute illustrations. It is a bit repetitive for those who aren't used to writing in a journal, just be creative. There are pages with birthstones, birth signs, birth flowers etc. A few first moments, spots for pictures etc.This will be a beautiful keepsake for your future child to cherish forever. I highly recommend this journal.

Every thing you need to track during this 9 months journey is there... Bang on . Space for pregnancy kit to each week progress from 8 th week and scheduled ultrasound scan finding you can paste.. my wife was super happy... Not used the other half of the book.. but definitely a decent cute and simple scrapbook for 9 months..

I love this journal and fill it in every week. It has spaces for what is going on in our lives, as well as other details such as cravings, scan results etc. Also space for pictures to stick in every week. Would really recommend it.

Per tenere "tracking" della gravidanza e del primo anno di vita del bambino è, a mio avviso, molto carino graficamente ma troppo dettagliato. Ogni settimana di gravidanza ha uno spazio a sé... Ideale per chi apprezza soffermarsi molto su ogni singolo dettaglio soprattutto durante i 9 mesi della gravidanza!
