is the polypropylene a HARD material?

Polypropylene is quite hard material by itself. But do you really want to know whether this very suitcase is hard enough? The suitcase's walls are relatively thin and a bit wobbly when empty (unlike my previous Oyster model Samsonite of 15 years ago that was rock firm). Still, this one is also very well made and after using it for a dozen of trips with a lot haulage - sometimes along long cobbled streets - I am completely satisfied with all aspects of the case's design and manufacture quality.

How much does it weigh?

i believe these cases are a max weight of 5kg.

Is there a single padlock with the suitcase?

No you don't have a separate padlock you have a locking system that is integral to the suitcase. The nice thing about these cases they don't have zips and are therefore more secure.

Can this size take 20-25kg

Yes it can easily take 25kg, my husband recently traveled with 27kg without any issues
