A simple but really useful little adapter that does exactly what it’s supposed to. Perfect if you’ve got a mismatch between bulb types and don’t want to replace the whole fitting. Easy to install — just screw it in and you’re good to go. Feels solid enough and works without any issues. One of those small, inexpensive fixes that saves a lot of hassle.

Worked very well. I checked a few reviews before buying this product as some people talked about the bayonet parts not fitting properly for some of the converter products and this one seemed to have the best reviews. They feel like good quality, and it was a good fit on both sides. Update: I am dropping the score to 4 stars. I moved to a new house and cannot fit these converters to any of the light sockets, the narrow part at the top is just too short and so the converter just becomes wedged and the prongs won't lift high enough to go into the light socket. Although it only worked in one out of two houses, it was still only 83p including postage, so I don't feel I can drop the score too much.

This item would not fit in one of three sockets I tried. Of the other two, it was a bit of a push but it did locate in the bayonet receptacles and turn home with some effort. Fortunately, it fitted in the socket I needed it to work in. A good price, if you are prepared to take a chance it might not fit.

Does what it needed to do perfectly, convert my UK lamps to run in the USA

It is what it says it is. Works fine. I had to remove the existing shroud tho to make it fit the socket so now have the black boyonet visible.

je possédais une lampe ancienne (un obus de la guerre 14 en cuivre) où je ne pouvait mettre de des ampoules à culot , ainsi avec l'adaptateur douille j'ai pu installer une ampoule décorative à vis.
