Joseph Joseph Wash & Drain Kitchen Washing Up Bowl for Sink with Handles and Draining Plug, 9 Litres

Great washing up bowl that protects our new ceramic sink, is easy to clean and looks good. I’d recommend for anyone that likes a clean looking kitchen, neutral tones and low maintenance appliances and kitchen ware!

It is expensive for the simple purpose of retain & drain water I originally thought but once I opened my sink with a screwdriver and witnessed horror black slimy foods in tubes piled up there without blocking the path of water flow , I decided to buy this basket to take distance from bacteria 🦠 when washing plates . It is hygienic and neat to move dishes till being washed . I did break one mug of Emma bridgewater as .. it was possibly not supposed to be soaked in water too long .. but other than that , it is good functional investment. I do miss my dishwasher. But if anything needs to be hand washed , this gives a solution not to block your sink . I find anything from this brand is well suited to tackle modest rented flats . Limited space as not by my own designed house . So much obstacles and limitations . This product was actually my least necessarily list but now changed mind to vital . Liked it .

This goes on my list of one of the most helpful products ever made. This product has made our lives so much easier!First of all, we have a delicate sink that is very thin made of some sort of stone material. I have large and very heavy cast iron pots. Bad combination with the sink. This product has been a life changer because we no longer have to worry that the sink is going to break if someone bangs the heavy pots whilst washing up. This helpful bowl is sturdy enough to take the bangs.We also have a baby and we have glass bottles. We had already broken two bottles in our sink. Again, this bowl has rescued many bottles and other glass items from breaking. It is so helpful with a baby though because you can put the plug in and move the bowl elsewhere to let items soak whilst you use your sink for other washing up. What we have found useful is that you can then transfer the bowl back to the sink and with one turn of the plug, th water drains out. No more need to tip the bowl over like other traditional washing up bowls. It's literally like having another handy sink.Lastly, another feature we have found so useful is that the bowl sits high. It's not high enough to come above our sink. It's just high enough so that if you're short (I'm 5'1"), it makes it SO much easier to wash up because I'm not having to bend over in to the sink. I really love this product and Amazon sell it cheaper than anywhere else. A definite win!

I was fed up of the well known brand washing up bowls discolouring so opted for a more expensive version to see if it helped.Joseph Joseph produce good products but often the price is higher than others which does deter me.With that said, the old adage of buy cheap buy twice has actually resulted in me buying three cheaper washing up bowls which haven’t lasted.The JJ bowl looks good, is well made and does the job.It’s squarer design took a bit of adjusting to but now life is a breeze. The plug in the bottom is really useful and just removes the spill and slop that sometimes comes with emptying the traditional bowl.Good size, very sturdy and the carry handles are useful.I would buy it again - no more cheap washing up bowls required.The extra cost is worth it (in my opinion).

Much better than usual plastic bowl. Draining plug in base makes it easy to empty without water splashing everywhere. Sink does not need to be cleaned so frequently.

love this bowl, no lifting required, drains easily and fits pefectly in my sink. Its expensive ,although got it in the black Friday sale. Lovely quality, the handles make it easy to pick up and I think it will last many years.

Sturdiness:I ordered none of these bowls in the grey and it is excellent, I have a small sink and this bowl fits perfectly. It is strong and sturdy and fits the space. The fact that it has a plug is excellent and because the bowl is raised everything can drain away without the bowl sitting in it.It’s a fabulous bowl and for the prime day price it’s a steal!The grey fits in with my kitchen nicely and will not show stains like the lighter colours could end up doing. Brilliant.

Plusieurs coloris, dans des tons vifs, moi je l'ai joué grise pour aller avec ma planche motif galet et siège de douche pour handicapés. Bien haute, deux poignées faciles à saisir. Il suffit de dévisser la bonde pour vider la bassine et elle se vide, plus à soulever un poids lourd pour vider. Un vêtement à laver à la main, hop dedans, il trempe en toute sécurité (j'ai posé mon évier portable ou cuvette sur un tissu sur mon siège de douche, contrairement à mon lavabo 30 minutes après le linge trempait toujours, j'ai dévissé la bonde, l'eau s'est écoulée, et je n'avais plus qu'à ouvrir le robinet pour la remplir de nouveau et rincer mon linge sans fatigue, la maladie évolutive dont je suis atteinte, je l'ai oubliée, je devais demander de l'aide pour manipuler les cuvettes et là j'ai retrouvé des gestes du quotidienJoseph Joseph est une marque chère (apparemment)mais des tas d'ustensiles bien pensés, ergonomiques, jolis dans tous les domaines, et pratique surtout quand on a des studios grands comme un mouchoir de poche. Mais comme une chose peut remplacer jusqu'à 3 ou 4 ustensiles la marque devient très abordable.Votre dos va vous dire un grand merci. Pour faire tremper les pieds plus de bassine à vider, utile pour donner le bain à un petit animal. J'ai offert cette bassine à une famille accueillant 5 enfants, les 3 filles sont ravies de pouvoir faire prendre un bain à leur poupon et vider la cuvette comme une vraie baignoire. Pour les petits un apprentissage du lavabo à leur hauteur, se laver seul le matin plus besoin de grimper pour atteindre le grand. excellent matériauJe recommande ce produit

What a great idea! Good quality portable sink helps with all kinds of tasks. I use it in the kitchen but will buy another for laundry as it'll be great for soaking clothes before laundry. It's a well made product and very sturdy.

Overall product is good quality and does the job as needed. The item isn’t cream as described or as seen in photo, it’s more of a light grey which was the most disappointing thing for me and I’ve been looking for cream like this.
