Size is larger than you may think, so order a smaller option.
Great hat, lovely and warm, but unfortunately this was a little to big for me. The size was make medium - large, a small to medium would be better are someone with a smaller head.

The love of my life
Editing my review only to say I've owned it 6 years now, still all true. Looks and feels the same as the first day I got it, it's my favourite hat and the only one I use every day all winter. The absolute comfiest, warmest hat I've ever owned, people have asked to borrow it from me. My head's on the smaller side so I had to make an extra hole on the buckle, still perfect otherwise though. Honestly can't praise it enough

Slightly Bigger than expected
ordered medium as suggested, still a little on the large side. However, i can't be bothered to send it back, it's a lovely hat, i'll deal with it being a big big.

Although I bought the largest one available the inner band pulls too tight on my head so I had to give it away to a friend. Made in China so its like most Chinese clothing a poor size match. Its a pity as it feels very nice and warm even if its likely to be an imitation of a real Russian hat.

It definitely kept me warm when I went to Alaska to visit some friends! It’s the perfect size and is very comfortable to wear. I recommend to those that are in or going to cold weather! It’s also lightweight and waterproof! A plus!
