Kent Car Care GKEQ9255 Polish Applicator Pads with Handle, Blue/white/yellow

I bought these to use when polishing and applying cleaning products to my car. Overall, I really like them and I think they're brilliant value for money. I love the different materials that they're made from and the fact that it gives instructions on when to use each one. The plastic handle is a nice touch and can be pulled off and applied to any of the pads with a bit of force. I would definitely recommend this product to someone looking to get 3 high quality applicator pads for polishing their vehicle by hand.

Good product but for wax, not for varnish

So I got these to use on my Peugeot 207 for polishing after washing it. I used these as well as T-Cut 365 Paint Work Kit - Black and can tell use that if help a great deal during the process. As anyone knows that if you have a black car is hard to keep them clean, seams like they are a magnet for dirt. Found these as a great way to apply polish or wax to my car without accidentally smudging or putting finger prints on the car during the application stages. With the holder it made changing/removing pads very fast and easy. Manipulating the pads during application with easy and applied even pressure so there was no uneven parts when finished. Overall It is a great addition to my process of cleaning/polishing my car. I would defiantly suggest getting one of these if you are looking to get more control and reduce possible finger marks or smudges during the process.

Ok u get what u pay for u may aswell dump the black handle as soon as u remove the pad stickiness is gone so ur left with 3pads them pads are of good quality but nothing special. They are handy as a back up.

You get 2 sponge-filled cloth pads, a sponge pad and a handle which attaches to the cloth pads by means of a velcro-like pad. The handle does not attach to the sponge pad. Attached to the other pads, it makes it easier to apply an strong even pressure to the surface as needed for for cleaning or polishing. However the pads are quite small (5 inches in diameter) and could soon become clogged if used for removing polish residue. With the Meguiar's 3-step polish system, I used the white cotton pad to apply step 1 and the blue microfibre pad to polish off step 2, and both worked well for these purposes. The sponge is ideal for applying a pure wax polish such as Meguiar's Deep Crystal Carnuaba Wax. It remains to be seen whether the pads can be cleaned so they can be used again. For the money, you do not get a lot of cleaning surface area, and I would like to see more pads in the pack. Since only one handle is needed, this would reduce the unit price.

The whole point of this gadget is the handle. It is a small piece of black plastic. Plus a cardboard wrapper around 3 detailing pads. It is the Plastic knob that you are buying. If you have any problem holding pads for hand detailing, arthritis, just plain clumsy, which ever, it is a pricey piece of plastic at Halfords. This supplier managed to trim the price nicely. Oh, and the lump of plastic; it's worth every penny. There are plenty of people on Amazon selling all three of these different pads. The ones supplied are good too. Well made and will bear a lot of reuse. I know because I bought one of these chunks of plastic for my Dad ages ago.

I discovered that applying car polish using applicators was far more effective and economical than just using a cloth. High street and Halford prices are excessive. The price and quality of the Kent product was exceptional and well worth it. These applicators used in conjunction with a quality polish will produce fantastic results.
