M42 to NEX Lens Mount Adapter, for M42 Screw Mount Lens and Compatible with Sony Alpha E-Mount Cameras

Perfect for vintage manual m42 lenses on my Sony a5100, build quality is all metal so it is durable and can hold the absolute tanks that are old Russian lenses. Especially when the lens weighs 3x the weight of the body :')

The quality of these adapters are unreal. This will be my second m42 adapter from K&F and both are exceptional quality, and accommodate the small aperture pin on these lenses. My only feedback would be ideally if the adapters were a bit lighter, especially as m42 lenses themself tend to be on the heavier side so the weight does become a little much but not enough for me to not use them by any means.

Really well made and so very fine as a design item. Works really well. Fits really well. The only weakness is the glossy internal black finish that reflects some light sometimes and creates glare in some images. Paint your barrel internal shaft matt black K&F! C'mon! I spray painted the internals after taking it apart. It only takes 30 minutes. Taking into account a top quality adapter tears your money for over £100 this is a very good adapter if you are able to paint the insides. And it is incredibly heavy, but it feels superb.

Works perfectly on the Sony Alpha A6000 as it should. This attachment allows you to use the old M42 screw lenses with the modern Sony E-Mount cameras however bear in mind the auto focus will no longer work while the lens is attached and you will have to use the focus ring on the lens itself. Ive used it in conjunction with a Carl Zeiss Tessar 50mm and it has produced some lovely sharp photos. For the price of this unit and a second hand lens you have a very nice set up for very little money

Great quality item but Wasn't compatible with my Zeiss Jena 135mm lens. The m42 threading on the adapter wasn't deep enough so the lens could not screw down fully and was not recognised by my camera (Sony nex6), resulting in not firing the shutter. Returned for this reason. Packaging and delivery was all on point.

L'anello si presenta tutto d'un pezzo, nessun comando di sblocco o altro, si avvita semplicemente l'ottica sull'adattatore ed il gioco è fatto. Io ci monto uno Zenit Helios 44-2 58mm f/2.0 e Meyer-Optik Görlitz Domiplan 50mm 2.8 senza alcun problema. Pregi: - è garantita la messa a fuoco all'infinito - si possono utilizzare i diaframmi. Generalmente con le ottiche M42, come per altre tipologie, si lavora in preset, ovvero si imposta il diaframma, si compone a tutta apertura e al momento dello scatto la fotocamera agisce su un comando che chiude al diaframma impostato. Con questo anello invece il comando rimane "premuto" ed il diaframma rimane impostato al valore impostato. Difetti: - un poco pesantuccio, circa 110gr che si fanno sentire ma fidatevi è realizzato con cura e qualità.
