I can't speak of the product's durability but, after all, it is metal and has nothing on it that I can see to wear off or wear down. It should, therefore, last a lifetime. The value for money seems to be first rate as long as it continues to perform as a magnet. The magnet arrives in special packaging which is required to prevent it from harming anything that might come into its proximity; magnets can, for example, damage electronic components. This packaging is basically two, presumably lead, halves that together form a box around the magnet. This is fine but the ones I got were covered in some horrible, thick, grease which served no apparent purpose (nor did anything in the written documentation refer to this grease). So, I had to clean it off using a special detergent. Once done, the metal storage 'box' was fine. Buying this magnet was an education for me. I learned of the existence of magnets of such power as to be physically dangerous although this particular size could hardly be dangerous to an *adult*. Be in no doubt as its power, however. I thought it might be a good idea to make the side of my fridge freezer its home. NOT A SMART MOVE! In the first place, once stuck to the fridge, I couldn't remove it without great difficulty, having, in the end, to slide it off sideways! Secondly - and far more importantly - my fridge broke down within about a week. This may just have been a coincidence as it had worked for over 20 years but then again, after being so reliable, maybe it was the magnet that finished it off. So, beware! It is powerful.

Nice and powerful, I keep mine in the plastic case that they provided (I discarded the metal box). When it finds a screw in the plasterboard, the magnet will happily stick to the wall if you let it.

The First4magnets 20mm x 10mm Thick N42 Neodymium... magnets are excellent!!! I bought them to improve our medium size, "Exo Terra Turtle Bank", which has magnets for keeping it afloat. The original magnets that were provided with the "Exo Terra Turtle Bank, just fell off when my 2, 6" terrapins climbed aboard. As the terrapins were too heavy and the magnets were too weak, the Turtle Bank floated away and the terrapins were unable to bask under the basking light. So, we needed stronger magnets! The problem was solved, when we replaced two of the original magnets provided with the Turtle Bank, with 2 of The First4magnets 20mm x 10mm Thick N42 Neodymium magnets. They did the job! I highly recommend these magnets to people who have terrapins/turtles Turtle Banks which need to float on the water in the tank & be additionally secured against glass with magnets.

The magnet is as said however the packaging that it came in was covered in a sticky yellow/orange liquid, I was a bit disappointed about this as I couldn't get this off even with rubbing alcohol. If the Case/Packaging this comes in was clean I would have rated it a 5 as the magnet is very strong and scratch/chip free.

Am using the magnets to (very securely) hold music onto a music stand with a steel music holder. The magnets work extremely well - in some cases too well. I have some very thick music books which when placed on the music stand - would close-up or pages would flip. As the books are quite expensive - I didn't want to force open or crease the book spine for fear of breaking the book binding. Therefore, the idea of using these magnets to keep the book open without damaging the book. I have found in use that these magnets will hold their own weight through approx. 2.5cm of paper. They will actively stop a book closing through 2cm of paper. If only a few pages of paper - you'll never get the magnets off (slide not pull is my advice).

Using four of these each wrapped in masking tape. This prevents them from scratching surfaces. I have used them as an aid to hold parts of a Star Wars helmet together to get the alignment right before joining parts. They are like having a spare set of hands and can get to spaces where clamps cannot. The packaging is pretty cool as well to prevent the power of the magnet(s) damaging anything due in part to their magnetic power. I initially bought two, but then purchased more, when I saw how great they were. Plus they were very competitively priced compared to other auction sites. Highly Recomended and great delivery on top .

Impeccable rien à dire

inizio dicendo che il magnete si presenta esattamente come viene descritto, stesse dimensioni e tutto. Ho comprato due di questi magneti e provandoli uniti ho riscontrato un notevole implemento della forza di attrazione, per ottenere risultati consistenti comunque penso di comprarne altri due. Veramente simpatici se si vogliono fare giochi di magia fingendo di muovere oggetti sul tavolo con la telecinesi, ma in questo caso per muovere metalli di una certa dimensione consiglio un magnete piu grande o di unirne almeno 4 o 5 di questi, con due riuscivo a muovere oggetti di piccole dimensioni come monete o forbici, considerando lo spessore del tavolo di circa 2 cm.

Guter Preis und der Magnet hat auch anständig Kraft. Habe diesen Magneten mittlerweile schon über ein Jahr und er hat bis dato kaum an kraft verloren!
