Can you tell me the exact size of the spoons please?

Yes they are perfect but it depends on the size you are hoping for you may be better with a dessert spoon.

Are they 'tablespoons'. Would they give the correct measure if you needed to measure out a tablespoon of something in a recipe.

I don't think they are exact tablespoon measurement, they are flatter and bigger than a classic tablespoon, but probaly not far from the right measurement. I would say that they're good quality for the price anyway. I'm pleased with my set. Hope this helps!
