ORS Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil No Lye Hair Relaxer-Normal

This product has been delivering its promise to women of color for decades. It essentially relaxes hair by breaking down the protein bonds. It is a chemical treatment. Product works perfectly!DO NOT use this product on bleached hair. Simple as! Pay attention to the strength lable and educate yourself first. I've used it for donkeys years with no issues. Use the right strength for your hair, amount of time, use mixture immediately (it intensifies as it sets so don't wait!) AND decide wisely whether this product is even made for you. If you had no idea about anything I wrote above and don't know what 'no lye' even means, I advise wait and first talk to a professional who actually does relaxer treatments on a regular basis.

I’ve used this product many times for 1 client over 2 yrs. I was unable to purchase from my usual salon suppliers & purchased here. There was One item missing from box which activates the relaxer. This is a faulty Batch. Instructions are exactly what I’ve followed b4 but products inside missing was the EXOTIC OIL BOOST. I had to send my client away. WOULD GIVE ZERO IF I COULD.Do not buy. Will not buy from this supplier.

Product burned my scalp despite using the neutralising shampoo. I quickly rinced it out with loads of water prior to applying the shampoo. When I applied the second application of the shampoo and left it in my hair as recommended on the instructions it took about 30minutes to calm down the burning irritation I felt on my scalp area. I've used relaxers before and have had some burning & irritation over the scalp but not to this intensity felt. I will therefore not purchacw this product again. It did straighten my hair as expected.I have to add that the company is very generous as there are extra conditioners and mouse set products in the container which I did not use as these where optional to use at another time.

Ordered and received a fake counterfeit product from the seller GB TRADERS. The packaging doesn't look like the real ORS product. The relaxer lid was unsealed ! When mixing the product the consistency stayed lumpy. Activator bottle had a weird fake packaging with a black lid unlike the original. Stay. away, this could be very dangerous!

The box did not come with the oil booster which you need mix into the relaxer in order for your hair not to dry out and break! Unfortunately i did not see that the oil booster was missing until i was halfway through missing it. Very disappointing and a waste of money.

This did exactly what I had hoped for. I'm a guy who 'suffers' from wavy hair, I've always envied those with perfectly straight or curled hair but I've always been stuck somewhere in the middle. After the first use, my hair was noticeably straighter and seemed almost heavier if that makes sense. I've used it twice and now my hair is as straight as can be and I am thrilled. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it takes a couple of washes to get rid of a somewhat lingering ammonia smell.

This stuff works, it'll make some strange smells as it's cooking your hair but it works. Hair feels like rough hay after use so ensure you look after it with lots of conditioning.Noticed some healthy hairs falling out of my head the weeks following use

Avoid ! Been using different one before even on blonde hair never ever my hair fails out !!!!!!! Avoid avoid !!!!! Lost almost all hair need now shaved off all !!! Keep it for only 5 minutes!!!
