The leather effect arms are quite convincing.The main body has been proofed by the look of it to make it shower proof.The fit described in the listing is quite accurate. First off let me say this is a great jacket, and the image is a good reflection of what you'll get. The only difference is the khaki is slightly darker than the image, but I guess that would lighten with wear. Unfortunately I had to return the jacket as it was too big, and they don't have my size otherwise I would have kept it (the return process is great too).Secondly order your normal size. I normally look to buy XS when it comes to tops. As I'm a 36" chest, I went with the small hoping it would be ok as it was slim fit, but it was an inch or so too long in the arm and body, and a couple of inches too wide around. So for me I'd need an XS - and if they ever do one i'll definitely get this jacket as it would fit perfectly (snug but not tight).
